I have the feeling the chef is from Hawaii... Hawaiian music, good sushi, great Hawaiian style teriyaki... The interior is a bit cold but the service has always been nice. People seem to complain about the price but it seems to be fairly priced to me. I wish he would run with the Hawaiian aspect, his teriyaki is the best I've had in the Eugene Springfield area by a good margin... Try the bento at $15, it will feed 2 people. My biggest problem with the place is the lack of customers, which is disconcerting in a restaurant.

The quality of their fish is very good. It's an excellent no frills true sushi restaurant. Ask the chef what's special.
