My daughter was the one who first found it.  Great broasted chicken, jojo's, onion rings, and one of my favorites gizzards.  Cooked to order so it takes some time, but you can call in your order.  Many choices of sauces.  Going there tonight.

Discover a diamond in the rough. Get-n-Go Deli isn't a Deli. It's a burger and chicken Dive. This is one of those places that we passed by for years. It doesn't look like any place you would want to stop. Finally, we stopped in for the Broasted Chicken. It was a good sign that there were two industrial workers waiting for their lunch. It was obvious they went there often. Those guys don't go back to a place if its no good. We were very pleased with the chicken. It was moist and delish. The onion rings are just almost perfect. The prices were very reasonable and almost low for what you get.

We chatted with the lovely woman behind the counter and was impressed with the service and that she was cooking things to order.

Tonight to 'celebrate' the 3rd day of above 90 degree heat, we got Cheese burgers, Fries and Onion Rings. I am serious when I say that, for $10, my husband and I got better burgers, fries and rings than anywhere else in the Eugene/Springfield/Veneta metroplex. They are in the same stratosphere as 5 Guys and they have rings and shakes and their fries are better... and a cheese burger and fries or rings for $5...

The best part... their fry sauce almost-but-not-quite tastes like Bob's Burger Express... The apogee of Burger Dives... legend of the 2 cheeseburger-with-extra-sauce meal.

Don't let the outside fool you into not trying this great secret Springfield spot!
