My family and I went for breakfast and I had the french toast, it was absolutely amazing. My son had scrambled eggs and bacon and it was the best bacon he ever had. Small, quaint location. Would surely be back. You won’t be disappointed.
This was the most delicious breakfast I’ve had in a very long time!! Buttermilk biscuits with homemade peach butter... seriously!?! Creamy grits and corned beef hash!! And the adorable retro atmosphere!! I’ve died and gone to brunch heaven!! We will be back!!
Reasonable priced fresh food. Off the beaten path in Lincolnville neighborhood. Fresh food well made yummm
Fun little hole in the wall in downtown St. Augustine. The Southern omelette and the fried chicken biscuits were to die for! Homemade home fries were also delicious. This is a must visit breakfast spot!
My husband and I met our friends here. It is a very quaint and charming place. The space is small so there was a wait, but the wait was not bad. As we waited, we were offered coffee, mimosas or Bloody Marys’. My husband had the breakfast sandwich and it was very filling. The sweet potato home fries were the best part. I had the biscuits and gravy. Delicious!!! I am willing to wait for this dish again.
Went for first time with my daughter and granddaughters and ordered all kind of different breakfast, everything was delicious, prices are very affordable,
I will definitely recommend and go back as many times as am visiting St Augustine
This place has a following and it's easy to see why when you bite into the food. I went here with my wife on a Saturday morning and it was packed, although according to one of the servers Sunday morning is busier. We waited about 20 minutes for a seat at the bar. I got one of the $5 burritos which was absolutely delicious and enough for 2 meals My wife got the Southern Omelette which she also really liked for $9. They are aware of gluten-free needs, but the up charge was $1. We decided against it and just got the biscuit on the side and I ate it and it was well worth it (for me at least!). They do have a small parking lot, but no worries any spot in the nearby neighborhood that doesn't have a yellow line is free parking. I say if you want and affordable delicious breakfast in St. Augustine go here
This place is GREAT!!
The Breakfast Burrito is FANTASTIC!!!
The Chicken Biscuits are to die for!!
With tip $25.00 and food to take home!!
Must try!!
Very good little cafe. The service was fast and super friendly. Everything was fresh and house made. My husband had crab quiche. It had a tasty side salad of cucumbers and vinegar. I had real (not from a can) corned beef hash. The decor was charming, funky hippie chic. Definitely be back.
I had lunch here Friday, January 6th, with my wife. We both enjoyed our meals. I had the Yard Bird lunch special, it has two pieces of fried chicken breast on a bed grits covered with a nice brown gravy. My side was fresh (not from a can!) collard greens. Over all, everything was pretty good, the greens were especially tasty.
My wife started with a cup of crab & corn chowder. We both thought it was lacking the crab but still good. She also had humus & pita chips. She liked it but said it needed more flavor.
The service was fine, our server was friendly enough and kept our glasses full.
Despite usually bring very busy the service is prompt and very kind. The food is deliciously simple with unique twists and worth any wait. I highly recommend this place for breakfast!
Great breakfast. Very creative and unusual menu with some old favorites. Grits and biscuits and gravy were excellent and my daughter got the Stuffed French toast which she loved. The wait was short, patrons friendly and waitress charming.
