5 stars every time! Best sandwiches in downtown St . Augustine! The Datil Pepper Cheese Steak is amazing! You cant get anything like it anywhere else. The staff is always so nice too. It is outside seating only or to go.

After stopping here with my wife and grabbing the BLT tower sandwich with an added egg, I don't think I can ever have another BLT and enjoy it anywhere else.

My wife's King Roast sandwich really makes me wonder why Arby's can't even make something 1/10 as massive or flavorful as this creation that cost the same amount.

I just love this place. The food is simply the best. I was never a sandwich person until I was introduced to this place. Now it's like my daily routine to eat there. I had heard about this little gem and had to try it out! As a Reuben sandwich lover, I tried their Reuben and it was the best I had ever had! It was St. Patrick’s day and they had mentioned that they specially roast their corn beef. You could tell! It was just the right tenderness and right amount of everything! The owner even came to say hello while we were there. Super friendly and I can’t wait to have an excuse to return!
This place is absolutely amazing!!! I love the staff as well. My wife and mother in law came in here several times from the southern oaks inn and ordered cheese steaks. Best local.
My wife and I have eaten here many times when we come up from South Georgia. Everything we have ordered is outstanding. All the employees are super people. Lexi takes care of us and we are very grateful. The only complaint with Lexi is she is a Florida Gator fan but we all make bad choices. Drake’s is the best!
Maria the server, such a nice lady! Very attentive! Food has an amazing taste and really good price! Had ham and bean soup, a cuban, cheesesteak sandwich, 3 coffees and a side of fries enough for two.

Just had one of the best sandwiches in a long time! I'm dairy free and gluten free, my son is celiac. They have a gluten free hoagie roll. We ended up spitting it. I got the cheesesteak (no cheese) and it was amazing! Not fatty, but juicy. Added horseradish (fresh!!) and mayo. Sides are seperate, but we were all stuffed afterwards. It's small, but cozy and clean. Busy, but quick. Our server was so knowledgeable and very attentive. She was also just the sweetest girl as well. Highly recommended!
