We visited the Floridian on a rainy night in February and had a great experience! The atmosphere and service were top-notch. They have a lovely outdoor area, and had it not been cold and rainy we would have loved to sit outside. I had a fantastic cocktail (the Pine-Mingo), and my husband and I split the Company's Coming plate. The pickled veggies and bread were great, but the fried green tomatoes were a bit on the bland side. We also had salads- I had the Citrus Beet Salad and my husband had the New Cobb with shrimp. Both were fantastic. If we're back in St. Augustine we'll definitely return!

Yeah I’m gonna give this place 5 stars! It was absolutely delicious!! The hostess was so friendly and our server was great - I’m sorry I can’t remember her name! I wanted everything on the menu but I got the steak and it was like butter! My husband got the sausage and shrimp dish - amazing! The drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful! My brother-in-law got the fried chicken with waffles - WOW!! I’ll be back next year for another fabulous dinner!

This is a very nice restaurant with a home like atmosphere. They have extensive menu of beer, wine, and cocktails. Their pickled shrimp appetizer was delicious. The menu is full of creative dishes and it was difficult to choose. I wound choosing the cornbread stack, which was ok but sounded better on the menu. My wife had the fish and grits that was very good. The staff did a great job with our party of 10. This is definitely a cool place grab dinner and drinks while in St Augustine.

This is a nice restaurant in the historic district of St. Augustine with a handful of great vegan options. It's also very friendly to anyone avoiding gluten. The server was very helpful with explaining what could be vegan on the menu, and even told us where to get vegan ice cream in town after our meal. They also make great mojitos. The outdoor seating area was very nice, and even though it's kind of in the middle of a parking lot, has a lot of plants and decor to help you forget that. I tried the Chip and Dips, The Grain Bowl, and the Burrito Fresco. The soup of the day was a vegan tomato vegetable bisque, which was really incredible, even ok a humid day. The Grain Bowl is a really great option. It had really cozy flavors that went wonderfully with the tofu.

A nice restaurant with good vegan options! Strengths: + Great location right off St. George Street + Larger restaurant with lots of seating (however, still get a reservation) + Great fast service that was kind + Clean and eclectic atmosphere that was well kept + Good vegan option list so we weren't stuck with only one option or salad. + INEXPENSIVE compared to surrounding restaurants. We were at $65 including tip, two entrees, one appetizer, one cocktail, and one mocktail. AMAZING! Opportunities: - the vegan version of the fried green tomatoes needed more seasoning. Even smothered in the sauce, it was quite bland. This is the only dish we actively were not a fan of. 2 stars on that dish. Just some nice salt, pepper, and garlic powder in that batter would go a long way. - the potatoes in the nicoise were a little under cooked. We couldn't finish some of them that had a bit of a crunch. 4 star on flavor and everything else.

The Floridian is a must-visit dining spot when in St. Augustine. We stopped by for lunch and had the "Company's Coming" app, which featured fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, and pickled veggies- delicious. We split the Burrito Fresco, which I think had grouper during our visit, and the Southern Terranian salad. Both lunch entrees were fresh and filling. There were several tempting salads on the menu. Decent local beer options. My wife had the pine-mingo drink, which was a little sweet for her liking but very delicious. We sat outside on the front patio and strolled through the restaurant after lunch to check out the Florida-fun decor. If you don't dine here for dinner, this is definitely an excellent lunch option during your visit.

Went here today for my birthday. So glad I got reservations, otherwise it would have been a 30 min wait. I got the Vegan Mushroom Bisque! So amazing, a little sweet I'm guessing from Sherry as an ingredient. Then I got the N' Grits with blackened shrimp, that was also amazing. First time coming here and I will definitely be back!!!
