What a great neighborhood pub! The owner and the staff are wonderful they attend to every need it's a great Collective of all things English and British your eyes won't get tired but your belly night with all the good food to Pile in I highly recommend everything on the on the menu except for the liver and onions because well I don't eat liver and onions but the people who work the bar or what makes the bar great they are friendly and attentive and rs ready with a smile
this is by far the best British Pub in Florida, I visit Florida regularly as my mum has a Condo there and she insists on paying this pub a visit every time. The staff are really friendly and the food is brilliant, traditional fish and chips amongst loads of other goodies. I must say it's good to get a decent British beer in the States too!! A MUST visit if you are in the area :-) xxxxx
The bread pudding is to die for, it's awesome. The owner and her daughter are very nice.

What's not to like about this place? I'm sick of people complaining how non-authentic pubs are. Give me a break, we are in America and of course nothing will be how it is in England. Ladies are amazing, as is their food.
Top job. Haddock & chips followed by sticky toffee pudding, washed down by two pints of foaming ale served by friendly staff. What's not to like?

Amazing !! It was like going to London for a few hours. The fish & chips were the best we have ever had in st Aug and Jax !! The service was outstanding !! This pub is a must try !!
Exactly what I thought a British pub would look like. Good food, good beer, great service.
Wow. Drove past this place and had to stop. Authentic and fantastic. Great waitstaff, cold beer and the food was awesome. Take ur pic in front of the double decker bus too.
Love this Place!. The atmosphere is great, food is great! Nice place to go and get away. No need to go to England its right here in St. Augustine.
Excellent, Authentic English Pub. This pub, located along US 1 just north of St. Augustine, is an authentic bit of England in Florida. It has tasty pub fare, a good drink selection and the proper atmosphere one would expect. Apparently some people are turned off by the pub's appearance but it is just as it should be. It is not at all filthy but instead has the lived in feel common in historic pubs in England. The owner, Ann, is a real character and is from London originally. In short, if you want a chain restaurant with no surprises, this places is not for you. But, if you want a real English pub evening, you must head to the King's Head Pub.
As Bertie Wooster would say, "Righty-ho". We had a leisurely dinner the other night at The King's Head. We had drinks first from their large selection of British beers and ales, followed by an appetizer of Biscuit's and Stilton (crackers and a British blue cheese). Then, for a main course I had some very good beer battered Fish and Chips and also sampled the Steak and Kidney Pie. The atmosphere is as authentic as the food. And does anybody remember Mollie Sugden (Mrs. Slocombe), the British TV actress from the 1970's? Well, that's who our hostess reminds me of.
Good beers. Great beer, very friendly, perfect "British" atmosphere......food not very good. I'd go back for beers but not to eat.
