We visit St. Augustine often and always stop by Sangrias. We even spent New Year's Eve of 2014 there. Good live musuc. Sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. The tapas are very tasty. The sangria is really good, too. Had one of the best cheese plates ever at Sangrias. Not a place for a meal, but a place to take a break, relax, have a few drinks, a bite to eat, and enjoy yourself.
We ate here a year ago when we were in town for a meeting and rushed back as soon as we were here again! Both times, great live music, sitting on the terrace overlooking st george and yummy tapas...everything we ate was good!
This is a nice treat for an afternoon break. We sat on the balcony looking out at St George street drinking our beer. It kind of reminded me of New Orleans Bourbon St. Very relaxing and the guitar play and singer was very good. We will visit it again.

Go for sangrias. I've been here a few times for sangrias, the ancient city classico (I think is the name) is pretty good. Nice to sit outside on the balcony and people watch if weather is favorable. But my last visit I decided to try the key lime pie. It was covered in green goo that was so syrupy sweet, it ruined the pie. I had ordered this $7 dessert thinking it would be big enough to share (see Biscotti's in Jax) but it was a sliver! Thoroughly disappointed that I wasted money on pie that I could have made better myself. Still recommend the sangrias though.
Outside seating is breezy and wonderful this time. Restraunt is second story overlooks the scenic walkway of St. Aug. Food we had and sangria were quite good (we had the chicken pesto wrap and tomato caprise salad). Derive we had for our Sat. lunch excursion was fine.
