We go to Carmelo's often, mostly for the pizza. We live in Palm Coast and have tried pizza from about 10 places in town and none can measure up to Carmelo's. We have also tried other pasta dishes appetizers and desserts at Carmelo's. The food is excellent and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend it.
I had the Carmelo's stuffed pizza, it was very flavorful. While I was in line for my take out order all 3 people ahead of me said it was the best pizza in St.Augustine. I highly recommend this joint.
I love this place!!!! The place is nice, the service really good, took a little bit of time to get the food because we went in a busy hour, but the wait was worth it: the food was fenomenal!!!! The White Pizza was espectacular, delicious and make this place my favorite place to eat in San Augustine. Well done guys!! Congratulations!!!!
Ok my wife is a self proclaimed Stromboli expert and she seriously keeps talking about Carmelo's version. It's her #1 or really close. The Margherita pizza was good and would have been perfect if we ate at the restaurant rather than pick up. Just go! No regrets other than you should have gone sooner.
Fantastic food and family-friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend!!! We stumbled upon it after our chocolate factory tour with two VERY grumpy, hungry boys (one of which is also Autistic/ADHD)…our server was super patient and extremely understanding even when my boys were not exactly pleasant to be around. And the FOOD!! Wow- the broccoli and cheese bites were superb, and the single-slice pizza servings were huge! We will definitely visit again next time we’re in town!

If you are in St Augustine FIND THIS PLACE! It is one of our must haves when we visit. Located attached to a gas station on a corner it is a hidden gem. The grande pizza is huge and so good. One slice fills my plate! The toppings and crust are fresh and tasty. You won't be sorry!
Sort of a gas station, convience store, take out with a dine in restaurant on the side. The menu offers many different options which include pizzas, wings, sandwiches desserts and beer among other foods. I had pizza slice, jalapeno with cheddar and Stromboli with a choice of three toppings. The food is good. The service was great. Great place to pick up a quick bite or sit down to a nice meal.
Friendly staff, prompt service, great food, and large portion sizes. Food was brought out immediately instead of all together (only a minute or two apart) so that it was completely fresh and hot. I don’t usually leave reviews of places but really enjoyed this pizza shop! My dad had the lasagna instead of pizza and he said it was just a good.
