Solid Japanese steakhouse with good sushi. Remember to come hungry and bring a child to get a good show. Like the steak and shrimp diner with the lobster roll.
Hot and cold. (Depends on the chef and server). We've been here a couple of times in the last year. The first two time we went best fried rice in the area we had found, 15 minute wait time, great service, perfectly cooked food, good tasting original sushi, and not a single complaint. The place was packed on a Wednesday night.
This month we went for my husband's birthday. The place was empty except for a huge party in the back. We were warned that they were lagging because some of their chefs and servers didn't show up. Waited 30 minutes to get a seat on the hibachi side. Our chef was very entertaining, did some new tricks we had not previously seen, but the food he cooked well... Not enough seasoning (don't remember seeing him put any on it either, just butter) the rice and veggies were burnt on the bottom side, however the meat was cooked perfectly. Our waitress this time didn't listen to anything we said and was slow. By the time our sushi got to us it was warmish (it was a "raw" roll, not deep fried), it was supposed to be cold, like she let it sit around before giving it to us, asked to return it. We were refused. We never received a single refill. She brought us the wrong drinks, didn't put the dressing of the salad on the side as requested, put the wrong dressing on the salad, and rung up things we didn't order on our check and our friends. There were only 4 of us.
Love this place!!!. This is the best Hibachi restaurant in town. I love their seafood sauce. They also have "Fantastic Roll", which is fried sushi roll with some kind of special sauce. If you come here, u must try this roll. I order this roll every time i eat here. This is also the biggest and the nicest Japanese steakhouse in town. All people here are very friendly and polite.
This place is very hit or miss. I've only ever eaten sushi, so i can't comment about the hibachi. The first time I ate there the sushi was ok at best. Reminded me of the standard chain places like mikatos...not great, but not terrible. The second time i went, the sushi was much better. Fish was fresh and the portions were large. As far as service, not the best. It seems that they are understaffed.
Hibachi!!. There is, I believe, an 11 year old kid that still lives in all of us that really enjoys seeing someone start a big fire as he cooks your dinner right in front of you.
