OH MY GOODNESS. We were pulling in hoping that the Scratch food truck was open. It was not, so we tried the Funkadelic Food Truck and it did NOT disappoint. Food was hot, fresh, and so tasty. Son had a grilled cheese with crab and while he said it was good, it was a little too rich for him. Husband had a quesadilla with all kinds of yummy food in it. I had the O.G. shrimp sliders and they were delicious. Great selection for people who eat seafood and land lubbers alike.
Fresh gourmet food! Yep a food truck with delicious meals. All kind of flavors put together perfectly. Their fish tacos and Burger have so much flavor.
Avoid the crowds enjoy lunch or dinner outside on the water!! Crew is super nice and do an amazing job 😋
Great burgers and fries. The beer was good also. The service was wonderful. No ketchup or mustard
I got their catch of the day sandwich, which was blackened swordfish and got it loaded with all the available additions, and my God, was it the best fish sandwich I've ever had. Growing up in a different florida beach town, I've eaten at all sorts of famous beach places, local staples, and bougie restaurants and this food truck blows them all out of the water. 5/5.
My friends and I came here after a day at the beach on a bachelorette trip and we were all extremely impressed by the food at this food truck. Perfect flavor balance and very fresh ingredients. You don’t want to leave St. Augustine without trying!
Always excellent . The Brussels sprouts and shrimp and grits were a bit heavy. Not as clean and fresh as I'm used to with Funkadelic's food. Beet fries were awesome. And the main reason I stopped: their pepper jelly! 😋
I chose the octopus with forbidden black rice bowl.
It was the superb. The octopus was very tender and full of flavor.
The whole dish was way beyond what I would expect from a food truck.
I cannot recommend Funkadelic enough.
This food truck is one of the rare ones that lives up to its name. Funky food combos that delight the taste buds. The theme is funky and you have to just trust in the flavors. If you want something very different that will delight the senses, this is the truck for you!
