Great service. Wonderful food. It's always good but tonight I tried something new for me - Hunan chicken and shrimp. Wow. Egg drop soup was perfect as well and everything was super hot and fresh. I'll be back!
Really, really good.. Ordered take-out with my boyfriend on a Tuesday night around 9pm. Waited less than 10 minutes for our food. The Chicken w/ broccoli was really great, and my boyfriend loved his spicy chicken dish as well. They custom made a Pork roll to be extra spicy for us and it was delicious. The spring rolls were cooked perfectly as well. This may be the best Chinese take-out I have had in years. Tender chicken, great sauces, and friendly staff.
Chinese in Palencia. China King is in the Palencia Shopping Center next to Food Lion. Their menu states "Best Food in Town" and while it is pretty good Chinese food "Best in Town" is somewhat exaggerated. I am also not sure what "New York Style" means when applied to Chinese cuisine but they make that claim as well. I have had their Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso's Chicken (it is unclear how the dish came to bear the name of Zuo Zongtang ( 1812-1885), a Qing Dynasty general from Hunan. Zuo himself is unlikely ever to have tasted the dish), and also their Beef with Broccoli. I think everything I have had from China King has been well prepared and tasty. The prices are very much in line with other Chinese restaurants in the area, lunch for example is $5.65.
