Simply amazing! Everything tastes even better than it looks, which is quite a feat considering I was in awe of of how brilliantly aesthetic each delicacy was. You almost don't want to eat these heavenly delights for fear of disrupting their perfection, but you will be so glad when you do. The balance of flavors and unmatched attention to detail will absolutely blow your mind.
We used to live around the corner from Giancarlo’s and it took a lot of will power not to go get sweet treats all the time. Not only is everything we’ve had delicious but it is also very eye appealing.

An unbelievable little precious gem hidden between Walnut street and Pastry lane! Giancarlo can bake real italian pastry, and he is a master at it. I am Italian, and after one bite I was instantly taken back to Sicily, to Naples, to Northern Italy! His cannoli are just perfect, the sfogliatella is a work of art. I couldn't choose what to buy, so I basically bought one of everything. If I lived nearby, I would spend there every Saturday morning.
Got my wedding cake done here back in 2012. High standard. Commitment to excellence. We didn’t know jack about the rest of our wedding planning but we knew our cake was coming from here.
The pastries are to die for! Can't find pastries like this made fresh anywhere else in Central Virginia that I'm aware of. And their bred is outstanding! Highly recommend.
