We like to visit locally own restaurants when we travel. This was the only one we found that does breakfast. The food was excellent and our server was very friendly and efficient. I had the shore man skillet and my wife had the barnyard omelette. Both were tasty.
What a great bar/restaurant! Looks like it's set up for good sized crowds to watch games, play pool, or listen to music. Lots of TV's and a menu with lots of choices - burgers, salads, nachos, sandwiches and entrees, plus more. We had the grilled Romaine salad (with steak) and the Shepherd's pie. Both were very good with the only comment being the pie seemed to be made with instant mashed potatoes. The beer selection is excellent, with lots of craft beers on tap as well as available in cans and bottles. We ate at the bar and Stacy was fantastic as our bartender and server. We really liked this place and will definitely be coming back.
Delicious food and beyond friendly service! Nikki was incredibly outgoing and we had a great experience. The vegan sausage sandwich was FANTASTIC! The sausage was lightly crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle, and the onions and peppers were not overcooked. The new Spiced Harvest Ale was great! Would love to go back and order it all again!
We went on cowboy night. So therefore, the menu was related to cowboy items. We eat here once or twice a month. We really enjoy their food, the specials they have throughout the week like lobster night, prime rib or cowboy dinner. Our favorites here are the crab dip, cheesy tots and the lobster dinner. Prices are on the higher end but the menu items are delicious and worth the expense. For dessert they have the smith island cake in various flavors…a must try.
Came in for breakfast and was not disappointed. Leaps and bounds above Cracker Barrel. Luanne was our waitress and was great with our kiddos. This may become our new haunt for breakfast weekends.
Sat in the Tavern. Nice place for sports, live music, the beer was good, the food is mediocre. This place could be outstanding with an update to the menu and fresh ingredients. I would not come for the food. Beer and events only.
We enjoyed a tasty breakfast but it was the service and hospitality that really stood out. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. Meanwhile the manager (owner?) went out of his way to gift us a bottle of our favorite hot sauce (Huy Fong's Sriracha) which we happened to have mentioned that we had not been able to find in stores for over a year. Well worth a visit!
We had dinner on the restaurant side with a party of 7. The server was very attentive and personable and all of our food was served in a timely manner. The food itself was delicious and we had a wonderful time.
Nice little local place. Good selection of beers. We both had salads w steak. Both sets of steak strips were cooked as ordered (1 medium, 1 medium rare) and quite tender.
Enjoy the food especially their wings. The service and live music were great. I will definitely be returning in the future.
