This place is on point in so many ways. The food is packed with flavor and the environment here is packed with cool. Great decor, music, tv's style everywhere. Service behind the counter is top notch. They know their stuff front and back from the ingredients to beers more! It's just too good for this review.
1st time here while staying nearby. My takeout order was still hot when I got back to my hotel, a 10 min ride. The brisket cheesesteak with pepper jack cheese and BlackBerry chipotle sauce was excellent. The flavor of the chicken quesadillas was also on point. The staff was friendly and I will definitely be back my next time around.
I eat BBQ all across the country. Best traditional brisket I've had I years. Ribs have great flavor, the overall menu is great. I recently had 18 people at my house. People from Chicago, San Francisco, Baltimore and DC. Everybody was completely satisfied. Staff is friendly and engaging, owner are passionate, quality is superior!
Had the brisket tacos and they were wonderful. Informed the individual at the cash register that it was our first time eating there and he gave me 2 samples of their sauces to go with the tacos. Just the right amount of sweet and spicy.
Been wanting to try this place for a while. Got some fantastic moist pulled pork, some brisket with a beautiful smoke ring, and some Mac and cheese. The BBQ sauces weren't necessary for the meat cause it was good on its own, but they were still good. Definitely want to come back and try a burger
Absolutely fabulous. If you love Mission and Black Hog - this will send you into the stratosphere. I got a pork platter and the pork was out of this world. I've never had such tender, flavorful and JUICY pork barbecue. I like Carolina style and I wasn't disappointed in the sauce and the Cole slaw was perfection
But the reason to go is those onion straws.... Lawd! Shaved onion, coated in cornmeal and deep fried. I couldn't stop eating them, what a great foil for the slaw!
I saw plenty of other dishes I can't wait to try, and the portions are quite generous, unlike the other two restaurants I mentioned.
The service is energetic and on point. Go! Have them Cater your event. Be the first on your block to get bragging rights.

Friendly service and great smoked food. They're brisket is very good.
First time going after hearing multiple friends bragging about it and especially the brisket cheesesteak. Unfortunately, my experience with the brisket cheesesteak was not so good. In fact it was just plain brisket with lettuce, tomato and mayo. All of which I asked to not be on my sandwich. I didn't realize this until I was already home. I would have preferred the BBQ sauce and selected cheese, but that didn't happen. The food that the others in my family was outstanding and there was plenty for me to take from which is why I'm still giving them a strong 4 stars.
A hidden gem. Very friendly and great food! The brisket was cut thick and had a great smokey flavor. The pulled pork and onion straws were also great! Highly recommend!
