In the twisted, neon-lit corridors of our urban sprawl, there lies a bastion of culinary and social rebellion, a place that thumbs its nose at the high-brow, overpriced eateries that dot the landscape like so many overindulgent peacocks. This place, my friends, is the Welcome Inn – a dive bar that's as unpretentious as a kick in the teeth from a two-dollar mule. From the moment you stumble into this dimly lit haven, you're hit with an aroma that can only be described as the essence of pure, unadulterated Americana – burgers, those grilled to perfection slabs of meat, dripping with juices and the promises of a bygone era. These burgers don’t just tantalize your taste buds; they slap them awake in a frenzied symphony of flavor that's as bold as a whiskey-fueled debate on the state of the union. And let's talk about the beer – cold as the heart of a loan shark, yet as comforting as a mother's embrace. This isn't your fancy craft brew with hints of Himalayan berries or whatever nonsense they're peddling these days. No, this is beer in its most honest form, served without pretense or fanfare, a steadfast companion to the gastronomic delights on offer. As for the prices – insanity, sheer insanity! In a world where your wallet is under constant siege, the Welcome Inn stands as a bastion of fiscal sanity. You’ll half expect to be arrested for robbery after paying your tab, wondering how in the hell they keep the lights on. It’s the kind of place where your dollar still has some dignity, some clout. And the atmosphere? Imagine a time capsule, unopened since the days when bars were about camaraderie and unfiltered conversations, not Instagram posts and pretense. This is a place where the walls could tell stories that would make a sailor blush, yet there's a sense of community, of belonging, that's as rare as a politician's honest smile. But the true heart of the Welcome Inn, the pulsing lifeblood of this glorious dive, is its staff. These aren't just bartenders and servers; they're guardians of a fading ethos, purveyors of genuine hospitality. Friendly, sure, but with a no-nonsense edge that lets you know you're in a place with character, with history. So, what’s not to like? In a world gone mad with superficial glitz and glamour, the Welcome Inn stands as a defiant monument to what once was and what should still be. It's a gritty, grinning, grease-splattered middle finger to the establishment – and in that, there's everything to like.

Ordered two double cheeseburgers all the way their way. Burger was good wish I knew about their triple decker burger 🍔 but I will order again. A lil dive but my burger was great and that’s all that mattered. It was a to go order. Glad I took worker from DC COOK advice and ordered on my way home from work. They don’t do fries or anything fried. Simple burger joint

Perfect hidden gem in southwest Michigan. They have some of the best burgers around. Just an FYI, they are cash only. You can order your food ahead and it will take about 10 mins to get ready.

Great little dive bar. I think they have had Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap longer than any other bar in america. Get a burger, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent food, Friday is all you can eat fish. It was hot and cooked perfect. I highly recommend this place for great food and cold beer. They have other alcohol drinks too.

Atm. Cash only. One pool table. Best prices literally ever. Old-school bar; new-school juke box. They like to keep it simple: you won’t find grenadine, french fries, or even a menu here. They serve burgers only; you can order single, double, or triple.
