Went to Tookes for the second time this year. Their food has changed some. They smoke the meat really well but it still needs more seasoning. I will say they give you enough food for what you pay. The sides were the best thing I've tasted in awhile, especially the mac and cheese.

This is quite unlike any other restaurant I've been to. It's VERY rustic, VERY old fashioned. But the food is excellent and the former owner, Mr. Tooke, is a cool guy too. If you're in the mood for ribs, this is not a bad place at all.

Tookes’s BBQ do it the Old Fashioned Way! It’s barbecue at its BEST!!!😋 I had a pull pork sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and Big enough for two settings. My wife had the rib plate. She said it was absolutely awesome! Again, if you want old fashioned barbecue, done the old fashioned way, you’ve got to try Tookes’s!😋😋😋
