Quaint and comfortable, this homestyle coal fired eatery isn't afraid to season their food! I ordered wings, a house salad, and beer and found myself pleasantly surprised! The onions and bread added texture and flavor for an all around good dish.

We live over in Naples and have been coming across the alley to IKEA for a few different things lately. We've never stopped at Giovanni's because we have a coal fired pizza place near us and it smells bad. But we were really hungry and decided to stop instead of getting snacks from the nearby 7-11 like we usually do for the return trip. It didn't smell like coal, so that was a nice surprise and huge bonus. We were delighted by the fantastic specials available for lunch for only $6.95. The portions were quite large. I had the baked ziti and my husband got the chicken parm w/spaghetti. I ate about half of mine and had the rest for dinner the next night. It heated nicely in the microwave and got very melty, so I really liked that. Lots of places have sauces that are on the acidic side, but not Giovanni's. The cheese tasted like it was a buffalo mozzarella that was layered over the ziti in a sheet because that's how melty it got. Really good. It absolutely exceeded my expectations and now I wish we had stopped in there the last few times we've made the trip over to IKEA. But now we know that this is the place to come when we're leaving IKEA. Slow-ish service, but friendly.

Great atmosphere. Caprese salad was excellent! Pizza was good, dough was a little under cooked. Didn't get the crispy coal fire I was looking for.
