Very nice selection of Ales & people. Customer focused staff. I Just read the previous review. Seems like the Blue Tusk is going to be looking for a new place to call home. What a shame

They make some of the best drinks in Syracuse. They also have seating with a wide variety of atmospheres, from intimate quite seating to open outdoor seating. Some of the bar tenders here have gone to world of beer, and so have their skills.
This is a really nice Bar with a great atmosphere, serving out some tasty sandwitches ! Tried the Bangkok pig which was great!
Always a great spot to swing through in Downtown Syracuse. A beer geeks dream. Great food and the best beer selection around. If you're around when it's warm out definitely take advantage of the large outdoor seating area. If you're only in town for a short while it's definitely a spot you want to stop at before you leave.
A little pub that has a welcoming atmosphere both inside and out. Great employees who have fun with the work they are doing. Great food and nice wine list along with beer if it meets your fancy.
The ladies who gave me the run down of what is popular were great and suggested the special Carving board (specialty toasted sandwich) which changes each day and highly suggest it! Have other menu items that look very tasty - can't go wrong!

Always a great time. The guys behind the bar are very nice and helpful, and the food is great as well. My only complaint is that sandwiches take FOREVER to come out. Great spot to hang out with a huge selection of beers.
Went on a Wednesday night and there was a good crowd of mostly young professionals. No drunk frat boys. Tables were relatively clean and there no odors. In regards to beer prices, I've been to similar bars in bigger cities, and the prices were actually reasonable in comparison.

Great beer selection, Very knowledgeable bartenders, the chefs are food artists. the tables are usually very clean. The environment is cozy, but social. I don't know where these negative reviews of the bouncers are coming from, they are professional, well mannered, and will immidiately kick out your typical "immature/rowdy crowd" at the first sign of trouble, all for the sake of maintaining a great atmosphere. Which everyone else appreciates. I cannot say enough great things about this place, definitely a must visit if your new to Syracuse.
