We were really excited to try this. Highly recommended burger joint, and our experience did not disappoint! All the food was really delicious. Atmosphere is fun and cozy. Especially loved our waitress Karen I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. We love everything about it!

Ale 'n' Angus Pub does live up to the hype! It's a chill space, packed wall to wall with people enjoying their meals. I was impressed with how relatively quiet it still was even with a packed house and I attribute this to not having loud music playing for everyone to compete with.
We were seated promptly and met our server shortly after. The server asked if we wanted wings out first and we did! They came out quickly and shortly after finishing the wings it was only a few minutes and our meals followed.
The taste, I came for the burgers and loved my Hot and Smokey, but the Citrus Chipotle Wings won my heart. They were made to perfection and it was a sauce combination I've never tried and if I ever see it again I won't say no! I also added the onion rings to my meal and they were fantastic as well. My wife got a salad and it was fresh, large and satisfying, she was very happy with her meal as well.
The only disappointment came when we appeared to be abandoned at our table. Our server became or simply just is the bartender and another server who was walking by was taking our finished dishes. We waited for the check for awhile because it's a busy place but unfortunately it wasn't until we flagged down the lovely server who was cleaning up after us that we got our bill. She took payment immediately from us as we could tell she knew what was going on and we also saw her being a super hero out there so a huge shout out to that lovely woman!
In conclusion, great food, great setting, kind staff, and you may need to be assertive to get your bill. An easy recommendation and we look forward to trying so much more on their menu.
Truly one of the best burgers I have ever had. I melted when I took the first bite. Will definitely be back when I'm in town visiting family.

Our work team of nine showed up without a reservation at lunchtime after we discovered that the restaurant we planned on going to was closed. I’m glad it worked out that way. They were very quick to accommodate us, even expediting the food for somebody that came a little late. The food was delicious. The service was great!
You haven't had a burger until you have one at Ale 'n' Angus Pub! Their burgers are like no other. Each bite is tastier than the last.Truly a beef eaters delight! And the homemade potatoes chip - best I've ever had! You gotta try them. You'll want to take an order home. Had the number 7. It was a masterpiece. The pecan bacon is an added explosion of flavour. Once you have had your first Ale 'n' Angus Pub burger it won't be your last. Treat yourself to something special and tell them Al sent you. Enjoy!!!
This place gets really busy during Crunch games. If you don't make reservations over a week ahead or get to the bar as soon as they open you won't have a place to sit. Food and service are great. You can't go wrong with any burger on the menu.
Best burger I've ever had! Delicious! The Moo York Burger is a must try! Tender, bursting with seasoned flavor.....Yum. Service was attentive and friendly. Super happy experience!

These yearly, New York best-tasting burger awards are no joke and National runner-up finishes truly are deserved.
You can never judge a book by its cover, right? Well, we found this place in downtown Syracuse while we were traveling there on a business trip. The decor was a bit dated but everything that mattered was delicious and super sensational. There are not adjectives to describe how awesome the burgers were. They we're definitely hand patted in-house with the right bun and the right accoutrement. I don't often refer to food in this way but it was like burger meat candy. Really, really good.
Everyone loved what they had; four specialty Burgers plus a chicken sandwich special, and they were quite attentive and took care of my kids which many times doesn't happen because people are put off by bigger families.
I had the Beef on Weck Burger which takes beef on weck to a new level. Plus, the kind of Cranberry mayo sauce for the sweet potato fries was addictive. Yum.
All of the beer was from New York microbreweries, craft breweries and that topped off the entire meal.
The owners were pleasant and available everywhere, running front and back of the house; and they were available and always inquiring about how you were doing. Matt was a great guy and enjoyed meeting him.
We hope to be back one day. Definitely on our list of Juicy and flavorful places. Great job.
Great local spot for great burgers and poutine. I just wish they were open longer hours, maybe when more people are back in the office or more is going on downtown.
