Believe it or not, it was my first time. I found it more expensive than similar restaurants. The amount per serving was bigger. That was a plus. Taste was OK. Good. Got the regular one. The strawberry lemonade was. ...... very different. Not bad, just didn't taste like strawberry. One thing I loved was the Mardi Gras mustard!
Service was prompt during lunch hour. Woman who took our order seemed less than friendly though. 6 of us are for $59 so the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was clean and organized, with the exception of the soda machine, that could benefit from being wiped down.
First time trying them out and it was pretty good. Fresh chicken sandwich, the bread was fresh, and the chicken was juicy and crispy. The strawberry biscuit was also delicious, not too messy either. They have good coleslaw, beans and rice, and mashed potatoes for the side. Their biscuits are alright too but little dry for my taste, and the fries are seasoned well. A little pricey but almost what you'd pay for somewhere else like McDonald's and I'd honestly rather go here, just wish had one close to where I live.
Prompt service, clean restaurant and good food! We placed an order online and it wasn’t ready when we walked in but maybe they have to confirm before they make it hot/fresh. It was still handed over to us within minutes and staff was courteous.
Photos okay nice and hot, every table in the place was dirty, I had a cleaner room table luckily I always carry a small spray bottle of rubbing alcohol. Other than that it was a typical Popeyes nothing special no other customers very quiet.
It was enjoyable, was clean and friendly. I've never tried Popeyes, had an appointment in Syracuse so I wanted to try it. I'll go back again nice experience.
The food was pretty decent but my strawberry biscuit was overcooked. It still had good flavor so I wasn't too upset about it, nor did I ask for another one.
I went to this Popeyes on Sunday for lunch before taking my dad to the airport. The staff is so friendly, food was served fresh, and was served in a timely manner. The dine in area was very clean. I happened to leave my wallet there, come Tuesday I realized the last place I had it was Popeyes. I called the manager, and he was so friendly and honest, I got there and all my belongings were just like I left them. I also learned that one of the employees reached out through social media, that had went to message request’s. I highly recommend this restaurant. wonderful, honest staff, great food and clean environment.
Popeyes and KFC are the two big chicken dinner choices in New York. Popeyes has more creative sides, but they can be pricier (depending on what you get). We got the special family deal which includes 2 sandwiches, 6 chicken pieces, 4 biscuits and 2 sides. That was a lot of food for only $30. All other combos seemed so small compared to that one. Glad we stumbled upon it.
The staff always seems to look like they don't know what they're doing most of the time and I've been here when there has been shouting matches between employees and managers. The restaurant itself is a little dingy too. The food, however, is good and they manage to get the order right.
