Beer and dessert are excellent! Has a great selection of local beers and all their desserts are deliciously made. The place itself is super cool! We had the pleasure of coming to drag night and had the best time! Definitely recommend coming out if you have a sweet tooth or place to hang out and drink. Or both!
Delicious wine and dessert spot with strong air conditioning (which is important on hot days in the summertime). A great after-dinner choice in downtown Syracuse!
My friend and I stopped here last night after dinner at The Hops Spot (and a walk to digest). We both wanted something sweet so we looked online and found Sugar and Co.
Walking in you can see it's a small place but they make it feel bigger. The design is very well done and it's cozy.
In addition to dessert and wine, we were surprised to find other small plate foods on the menu such as cheese plates, a few hot apps, salads, and even panini's.
After reading over their 9 different amazing sounding desserts, we decided to try the Tirimisu.
Served in a short glass and looking a little small, this decadent dessert that we shared was enough to satisfy our craving. Espresso and Kahlua soaked lady fingers layered with Marscapone, filling topped with Whipped Cream and Cocoa. It was a modern spin on a classic Italian dessert and it was delicious.
Desserts are original and fantastic!! Employees are very nice and a great wine and beer selection. Have been here a few times and always an awesome experience!!!
Put in a super top secret order to celebrate my GFs last day of teaching to kick of her summer break. Let me tell you... these cookies are WORTH. EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY <3 Kaleigh was very accommodating with getting an order of macarons with multiple flavors. These are easily the best on all of Syracuse. If you have a few extra bucks and want a tasty treat, GO HERE! You won't be sorry!!!
The food was good, but it took a little longer than expected to get the desserts out to us.
Highly recommend stopping here for a great Syracuse experience! Wow. Tried Sugar and Co. as a part of the downtown dining week and will absolutely be back. Often. The food was incredible. Just, perfection. Especially the cookie and brownie sundae made with this cookie dough frosting that just brought it all together perfectly. The atmosphere is trendy without being exclusionary, very welcoming overall. Service was fantastic as well.
My husband and I first tried a cake from Sugar & Co in January at a birthday party and IMMEDIATELY knew we wanted dessert from them for our casual wedding reception. I email the pastry chef and put the deposit down the next day. Kaleigh was amazing to work with, she answered all of my crazy questions and really made me comfortable every step of the way. Our guests absolutely loved the cup cakes! They were the perfect addition to our party and I swear were even better the next morning for breakfast! Fantastic cupcakes!
Love coming here. Staff is always inviting and welcoming. Feel at home. Food impresses me every time. I always leave with another dessert to take home. Atmosphere is quaint and intimate. Great for date night or girls night.
A new wine and dessert bar in Downtown Syracuse: This place has a cozy decor with mellow lighting, bar and table seating, and comfortable atmosphere. Surprisingly, the wine list is brief. There are plenty of sweet treats, appetizers and even a couple of salads and light sandwiches. Definitely a place to go after a good meal for dessert with a glass or wine or some coffee. A must visit for someone with a sweet tooth.
