Great place, they had a good but small selection of food compared to your normal buffet. They had us wear these blue plastic gloves that were a bit annoying but were fine for the most part.
Had a great time. Food was plentiful. Steaks were good. Clean and neat.
This was my first time but will definitely be back again. Too much food that I didn't get around to trying. 😂
Our server, the front staff and the food were all fantastic. With a party of 11, we are well and didn't break the bank. Will definitely come back.
Front desk was patient as we went through our checklist of kids and adults. I have 6'2", 14 year old, so folks get really judgemental and assume we're lying for the discount. Not here, they were wonderful from beginning to end.
Our server, if I recall correctly named Janine was as lovely as they get. She was smiles the whole time with the most disarming demeanor. She catered to our requests like the consummate professional. We felt like we were asking for things in a relatives home not a restaurant! Excellent!
Tried this place they were very accommodating with us having 6 adults and 4 kids. The service was great and attentive. The selection for was really great. I enjoyed everything I got plus dessert is always the best. I will definitely come here again if ever in the area again.
the resteraunt seemed really new the people working were all really professional and excellent customer service, the food was better then any other golden corral that we have eatin at and we have ate at several,, if i lived in syracuse ny we would eat there alot. we have already told friends how nice it was. out of 5 stars this resteraunt is a 6 star
What Golden Corral did for our Veterans was to me awesome. They fed our Soldiers for free. Not only that they got to fellowship with each other, no matter how old or young. The atmosphere from entering to exiting was just wonderful. Thank you for showing up and showing out. Keep up the good work. Very much Appreciated.
This is the new Updated Prices, Excellent services and major selections on food, etc. I would recommend the Sweet Bourbon BBQ Wings (new item they’ve added).
This will be the third Thanksgiving we have spent with Golden Corral. The food was great and promptly brought out if something tapped out. I want to extend my thanks to everyone who worked today at the Golden Corral in East Syracuse. I hope that you get some time with your families if you have one and hope you had a prosperous day. And to all those who eat out, especially on holidays, please make sure to tip these people who serve your food. Remember that they are paid under minimum wage so that company's can hire 3 for the price of one normally paid worker.
The food is excellent, and they have many choices to choose from. Lunch and dinner each have their own special menu, and you won't go home hungry! Sweet potato casserole, pot roast with vegetables, fried okra, fried shrimp, and brisket are my favorites. Service is friendly and there is plenty of seating, clean plates and holiday decorations make the place homey.
The check in process was swift and pleasant. I took my seat next to the gas flame fireplace - a fireplace at a Golden Corral - things are stepping up!
The buffet area was spotless. Every patron was required to wear plastic gloves while serving themselves - weird, but I'll bite.
The disinterested kid working the grill served me a - close to raw - piece of steak that was mostly grizzle and fat. It was so bad that I didn't want to try another piece.
The buffet was heavy with vegetables. The place should be called Golden Greenhouse. I really enjoyed the freshly steamed (and NOT overcooked) veggies. The same can be said about the fruits. All the non meat offerings were much better than any of the meat.
My "server" was pleasant and attentive. She was organized and spent extra time talking with the older folks eating alone.
I might go back - just to see if they have another grill cook who knows that direct heat cooks meat.
