Had a Sunday with the maple pecan ice cream. Loved it! Place has great ambiance. Outdoor dining only and very popular with the locals. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop.
I take the kids here every-time we are in the area. Even with a line the wait is never long. The staff are always friendly and nice. Has a little sitting section for for kids and the girls love it.
I've been going to Pete's for years. Since moving we bring our dog with us most times and the owner loves it, he gives her small cups of vanilla ice cream with doggy treats over the counter. They have a selection of Dole which I love. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good ice cream!
We love Pete's Polar Parlor in our house. I had a chance to sit down and speak with Pete today and he's so nice and friendly. The ice cream is always on point and it's a clean establishment with friendly employees. You might have to wait in line a little bit on a summers night because they are so popular but I promise the wait is worth it. Pete is great with fixing an order, if it's ever not to your satisfaction for whatever reason. When you go please be courteous and patient with them as there most likely will be a lot of customers.
One of the best Ice Cream stands in all of central New York. Everything they sell is high end and made from the best possible ingredients. They dont cheap out on anything they make or sell. On the flip side you definitely pay a premium when you stop here with the family, it has higher prices than other places but it is actually worth it. My 6 year olds favorite ice cream.

Very good ice cream. Service is normally good. Today, a school softball team was there. The wait was still very reasonable.
Classic ice cream place in Fairmount. It will always hold a special place in my memory, and it's still great ice cream to this day.
