Fish is amazing. Very fresh like everyone says, however service needs some serious improvement! We waited 10 mins before someone brought us menus,then we waited 45mins for 4 rolls... My husband ordered one beer. An Asian lady ran out, put it on the table and ran back to the kitchen. Didn't say anything, no glass either... We also ordered lo mein. They brought it out, but no silverware... We had to ask for everything all the time. Napkins, menues, silverware, more coke, a glass for my husband's beer, low sodium sauce, etc. they are truly clueless about serving people. I wish they improve it because that may be a breaking point for us...

Fresh sushi in Syracuse. ..say what? I was half expecting to have my nostrils assaulted by an unpleasant fishy oder. Kind of like when you find a mattress in an abandoned home that's been soaked in cat urine. Not the case here. Clean, clean. The menu was very well organized. I didn't feel obligated to select the most expensive roll like I do at other places. The waiter was extremely polite and timid. He sorted of reminded me of a baby horse that was just born and attempting to walk on is shaky pony legs. He suggested some of the best sushi rolls that we've ever had. I can't remember what they were. My memory escapes me..but I know I'll never forget them. The owner or at least I think she was because of how assertive she was informed my friend and I that we needed to leave because they were closed but not before we got to finish our fortune cookies, which were amazing. Our fortunes were spot on! I've never in my life and in the last three years that I've eaten sushi ever had a fortune gave me chicken skin! Totes awesome. Out of five stars I give this place three hearts because I loved, loved, loved it. I feel like I got a sufficient amount of protein out of my rolls . I need it because I'm going on a really long, hot hike in the morning and I hate protein bars, shakes, vitamins and whole wheat toast. I know I'll have plenty in the old kangaroo pouch to power through my 5hr hike!
Really good sushi!. I can't believe that there is good sushi in Syracuse, UT! Amazing. Have eaten here a number of times and have never been disappointed.
Exquisite Sushi & Food. Been to several different Sushi places across the Wasatch front, and by far, this restaurant establishment is in comparison to Sushi in the state of Florida. As well as the chinese food there, just as tasteful & flavorful as China itself. The place is clean, cozy and exceptional service. The sushi rolls are not stuffed with rice, its made with real crab meat, the sushi chef definately knows his skills. The Chinese food is fabulous, not greasy, vegetables are freshly cut daily. Everything is made fresh daily there. This restaurant & the chef's there, they deserve to be Utahs Best!!
Best Sushi yet. I've been to several different sushi places, and i have to say, Imperial is the best i've had. Sushi is always fresh and rolled tight so they stay together while eating them. Not to much rice. Service is always friendly. I have been there several times and never had a bad experience.
Great Place. This place is really is really grate and sushi is top notch. Me and my friends love coming here.
Imperial is a budget sushi joint and it shows. The sushi is just okay, but it's fairly priced. The Chinese food is better, but still fairly average. The one stand out I've tried is the BBQ pork with snow peas, which was excellent. The staff has always been friendly and nice to our kids. If you're in the area and want some Asian food, Imperial will meet your needs but probably won't knock your socks off.
Me and my partner tried this today for lunch and it was pretty good. The egg drop soup had a different take with peas and carrots in it (and I believe tofu)? The hot and sour soup was not a traditional hot and sour soup. My partner said it tasted and looked like the egg flower soup but with chili oil in it. It is a family owned restaurant and they were nice. The lunch/dinner combination was fantastic. It came out extremely fresh and hot. The general taos chicken was wonderful and the sesame chicken was sweet. Overall a cute and quaint restaurant. I’m glad we were able to try it and experience it. Next time we come here it will probably be through takeout however.
Went for lunch on a Saturday. Fresh food and it tasted great. The dumplings were delicious and the lo mein was full of chicken and veggies and prepared quite well. The sesame chicken had a good sauce and the fried rice was tasty and not too greasy like some places. Very informal with paper plate and plastic utensils but perfect for the atmosphere. Overall highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
Stopped by for a quick lunch, they have great Chinese lunch specials and sushi 🍣 rolls. We really enjoyed the fast but fresh food
We loved this little hidden secret! Had to try a variety and it all exceeded expectations and so did the staff! Very polight and super quick turn around order delivery to the table! We will be a forever returning customer!
Delicious food! Quick service and great price for the portion size they give you. I got a take out order around lunch time. It was done quickly (10 minutes) and all the food was awesome. I got the beef lunch special with an Alaska roll. Love the sweet "dressing" they put on the salad. Will definitely come back!
It was super amazing their rolls were amazing and they were so kind for our first time being there, our favorite roll was the utah roll, it is definitely a must have. The egg drop soup was delicious, and the orange chicken/sweet and sour chicken was fantastic. Their sushi and sashimi is definitely good.
Tasty little restaurant with an small authentic Chinese menu. Totally unexpected in the area. Delicious and cheap.
Ordered four different sushi rolls, and they were all fantastic. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. Quality ingredients and they sent us home with some handmade origami. Highly recommend!
