A welcome addition to the regular rotation. If you can, get reservations for the "Boozy Brunch" each month. Themed events with special drink and food selections. This month was "A Very Ugly Boozy Brunch". Breakfast poutine and mimosa flights were the highlight this time. A must try for anyone local or visiting Syracuse!!
“I’m not slurring my words, I’m just talking cursive.”
An incredible slogan to match the magic that is this place. Tucked behind / next to dual massive Kubal / Guadalajara Mexican restaurants sits this little place with a full bar / kitchen to boot!
Idk about you but anyone that has award willing Girl Scout martinis on the menu is a slam dunk. Friendly beertenders, and a lively fun atmosphere.
You will not regret pulling up for a pint on one from on the 14 draft taps or the local liquors. Get down on it!
We happened to stop in here while we were in town for a wedding. The variety of drinks is amazing! Definitely something for everyone. The food was delicious! I got fish tacos and my husband got chicken ceasar salad; both delicious! The staff were very friendly. Great comfortable atmosphere!
CRAFTY BEER & FOODIE FOOD!! We visit craft breweries frequently, but have rarely seen the perfect merger of delicious chef inspired food AND a great selection of crafted beer. Talking Cursive accomplishes both. We spent several hours on a Saturday afternoon sampling the beer and food, and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is top notch. If you enjoy the true craft brewery experience, Talking Cursive is a MUST STOP.
Great experience here evey time. It's becoming one of our regular spots. I don't really drink beer but the staff is always super awesome about helping my boyfriend pick beers to try.
They do a Wednesday deal for $10 burger n beer which is an excellent deal. They also have gluten free buns and GF drink options! I will come back. Outside of the burgers, I know the mini reubens and pretzel are snack great choices.
Great beers, friendly staff, and convenient location downtown. The food looked tasty although we did not have a chance to try it. Perfect spot to stop for a pint after taking in the art deco Niagara Mohawk building across the street.
Really cool new spot downtown. Excellent selection of beer. They're hoping to have outdoor seating come Summertime. Staff is very friendly and the setting is really cozy. The parking is super easy, plenty of street parking. The quality of the beer is really good. There are definitely some great foundations for "staple" beers. Would highly recommend checking out this spot!
HINT If you're thinking about going to this brewery, go to Middle Ages Brewing Company first for free parking. Then walk the quarter mile over here. (Plus an extra brewery can only make for a better trip, right?)
There is a wide variety of beer so if you want a flight of IPAs or one of stouts you'll be happy. Every beer had many tones/notes to it which I really enjoy. There were some more fun/experimental beers on the list as well which were interesting for a flight, but not for taking home. I enjoyed all of the beer I had here and would love to come again and see what their summer beers are!
You must try this place! Food was really good, there was plenty to choose from off the menu plus daily specials. Tons of variety with the flights too. Great vibe! Definitely recommend!!!
They have a ton of great Beers, I love their IPA’s , but they have a very underrated Pilsner. It’s nice , crisp, and it’s easy to drink. They also have great food, the pub burger is amazing, and they always have an amazing option on their weekly specials.
