I found this little soul food spot last night and was so excited... Omg they save my whole life. After along day of work I didn't really feel like cooking for myself and wanted take out this is not your normal Pizza & Wings Chinese food kind of take out. Some real soul food. Homemade like Grandma's house on a sunday. If your looking for comfort food this is the place to go. The staff was welcoming and the food really hit the spot. Would I go back? Yes yes yes.
I got the Haddock + Chicken dinner. Haddock was a GREAT sized portion of fish! Very crispy and well seasoned. Chicken was crispy but a little salty. I had to add some pepper and salt to the mac & cheese but overall, I was satisfied with my two dinners. Excellent value, thank you for the quick delivery to my house that generally I don't normally see a lot of stores offering delivery. Definitely going to order again and post more photos since we gobbled it down too fast this time!!! Also absolutely in love with the YAMS! Remind me of my childhood!!!
That fried chicken was so good. I had four chicken wings and they were huge, fried to perfection. They ran out of the cabbage I ordered so they scraped the pan and gave me the last of it, which was a very small portion. I also had mashed potatoes which were unlike any I'd ever had before., very chunky. I had to get used to them, but they weren't bad. I will say, I HAD to eat the mashed potatoes with the gravy bcuz they weren't flavorful by themselves. However, that gravy was amazing!
Yes, I'm going back!
They're also really sweet people that work in there ... makes you love supporting their business.

REVIEW FOR CHI SOUL: Absolutely the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. The people were happy, upbeat, helpful, and friendly. Little bit of sticker-shock, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Will be returning.
The food was good especially the chicken wings, cornbread dressing and peach cobbler. I didn't like the macaroni and cheese. The service is a little slow but the cook your meat to order so the makes sense. I will go back. I wish there were more soul food restaurants in Syracuse but for now this will do.
Very good soul food, meaning, they serve collard greens, mac and cheese, candy yams, stuffing, rice with gravy, BBQ pork ribs, beef ribs, turkey wings with gravy these are just a few items that I ordered while I was there. Le Teak definitely have a Southern home cooked taste and Goodness. If you ever heard of the southern term you put your foot in it then you know what I mean with some of their food is prepared like that,
My fiance and I love this place. Go when the older lady I think is leteak is cooking. Her nephew is getting better thought. The haddock is cooked perfectly and the sides are yummy. The desserts could be passed on though.
Everything was fresh. Had to wait longer than expected but the food was worth the wait. It had to have been, I just looked to see if they were open on a Sunday lol
Was in and out with my food ribs were great collard greens great and Mac and cheese some of the best I've had now this all said and I'm originally from the south awesome job
5/5 flavor, but service is a little slow. Definitely recommend if you're looking for that southern soul food flavor
