Quaint divey little tap room playing some good tunes. I love divey places and I feel like this was what I really needed. Most tap rooms locally tend to be a bit more of a hipster vibe...This is definitely different than that! You almost feel like you are in someone's man cave hanging out, and I'm completely OK with that! The guy behind the bar is super fun and nice! We chatted about beer mixing (he shared my joy in it) and I mentioned that the habanero cider would be good with the chocolate porter. It took him all of 5 seconds to come back with a taster of my random concoction for us to sample....and yes it was as tasty as I expected. Beer selection on tap is pretty good, but would prefer a better bottle selection. Keep in mind, their bottle selection isn't like 5 options, there is a selection there (minimum of probably 50 options), but with some other places in Tacoma basically spoiling me with too many options their's seemed unimpressive by comparison. They have small selection of sandwiches available and the one that my hubby and I shared was very good! We had the Italian style one and they did not skimp on meat that's for sure! The outdoor seating is a huge plus on nice days as most tap rooms locally don't have that feature! I feel like this is going to be a regular spot for us. This review should really be a 4.5 (only removing 1/2 a star for the relatively small bottle selection compared to similar Tacoma businesses) but sadly Facebook doesn't do 1/2 star ratings. I didn't think it was fair to drop it down to a 4 though so I decided on rounding up.
