It's ok. This is an unassuming location tucked away down a smaller street at the back of a plaza. It's a shady kind of area but the food and service was great. It good home style food. I did miss desserts however... I'd love to visit when they are serving breakfast.

I found this gem utterly by accident, and I will be back! Not a hint of MSG or any other artificial flavor enhancer anywhere. Nothing but actual meat and vegetable ingredients freshly cooked with legitimate seasoning, maintaining better-than-home-cooked textures. I haven't tasted liver and onions this good in 50 years! The baked chicken was moist AND flavorful (how often do we settle on one or the other). The peach cobbler was really good, and the apple cobbler was spectacular (had to try both the first time). I found the okra and tomatoes head and shoulders above any other offering in Tallahassee, buffet or otherwise. The staff were friendly, helpful, and appreciative that we came to try the place. I can' remember the last time someone actually smiled at me, looking me in the eye, while inviting me to return. Sweet people.
