I loved it so much i went again the very next day . I am a big fan of eating ramen noodles , the Bowls are very authentic , and full of flavor the music they played made me relive my youth with some of the 90s type hits. It is a little tight space area but totally worth Waiting for ! And to top it off they great you with a Japanese greeting when walking in Irasshaimase!!! I live at downtown Orlando but I’ll definately be coming again .
Amazing food, great drinks, the five dollar saki was amazing. Poached egg in the mushroom ramen was on point!
This is a gem in the Seminole Heights neighborhood! The ramen is legit! Noodles were the right texture and the broth was savory and delicious. We also had the fried chicken appetizer and the pork steamed buns which were fantastic. My husband had never tried real ramen before and this was a great place to try it! Will be back to sample some sake. They have a great selection!
Lynn snuck us in right before the rush. I had the mushroom broth bowl - vegan. I would've preferred less broth and less sodium. My friend enjoyed their #spicybowl. This place was listed on top #holeinthewall restaurants for Tampa. I'm glad I went. I can see why. Can't wait until you get the new place across the street. 🙌
Manager was awesome. Huge hockey fan, actually walked the food out to our car as we did take out. The bowls were fresh and packed!the dumplings were vegetarian and crispy! The pancakes were crispy too but soft inside. 10/10 it was everything we wanted!
Very cozy and nice place. Only 2-3 small tables and the bar. No reservations but you can call ahead to be added to wait list. Service was great but a little bit rush, which is understandable with such small number of seats.... Karaage was overcooked in our opinion. Prices are very reasonable for Michelin recognized restaurant.
My daughter and I stopped in here the other day, and all I can say is WOW! The atmosphere was wonderful and unique. The food was amazing and the ingredient combos made the flavors burst in your mouth! Pork buns in particular were the best I've ever had. Will definitely be returning here, and often.
Delicious ramen in Tampa. There is limited seating so be sure to call and be placed on the waitlist. It's not family or large group friendly but I've gone with my 9 year old and husband and never felt we weren't happy with the service or space we had. The music is all genres and does include r rated lyrics. The food is great we love the fried chicken appetizer, the veggie gyoza and all the broths we've tried. We visit everytime we are in Tampa.
We totally loved this place. This is a tiny place with limited seating, but the food is amazing, their staff are super cool and they have great tunes. I suggest you make a reservation. We visited Busch Gardens and came right over, and there was an hour and a half wait. So we just went to the hotel and came back just in time for our reservation. We had a great time here, had dinner, enjoyed 2 bottles of wine, and the tunes. Definitely will come back, but making a reservation first.
When I first tried Ichicoro Ramen it was the Pork Katsu Bowl I loved. When I go now I get the Tonkotsu Ramen always 😋 I like how they change it up but the flavors are always consistently AMAZING and dancing on your tastebuds. I do not know how I got into trying Ramen on rainy days, but I was definitely a happy camper the day I actually tried this spot instead of consistently passing it by on a ride home. This place is quaint so be sure to make a reservation before you go, so that you don't disappoint yourself with a long wait. Because this place is in demand, how can it not be 😊😛
This was my first time at a ramen spot. Hella confused getting there and finding parking during traffic hours. Inside was small but the atmosphere was decent. I was surprised because it seemed like an old auto shop with the two garage door turned into a small restaurant. Love it. Very interesting. I had the spicy abura soba and it was a little on the spicy. I didn’t mind. It was decent but next time I’ll ask to remove a few things. The Karaage chicken with the spicy sauce was amazing! The veggies gyoza on point. My friend had the mushroom and Karaage bowl and loved it. Me on the other hand I might try something else. I’ll be back though. Can’t say y’all terrible without trying a few other things. 4 star for me.
As a regular visitor to Ichicoro Ramen since 2018, I can confidently say this place has been my absolute favorite spot in Tampa for authentic and delicious ramen. Located in Seminole Heights, this cozy little spot offers an incredible experience to anyone who loves ramen.
One of the things I love about Ichicoro Ramen is the Sake cocktail that is not on the menu. If you're a fan of sake, you can ask the bartender about this cocktail, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
My personal favorite dishes are the Karage & Shoyu ramen, which are simply divine. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are always cooked to perfection. For those who prefer vegan options, the mushroom ramen is an excellent choice, with a unique blend of flavors that will leave you feeling satisfied.
However, my only criticism is the limited seating options, which are mostly restricted to the bar section. Although the atmosphere is cozy and intimate, it can be a little uncomfortable to eat your meal while perched on a bar stool. This also means incredibly absurd amount of waiting time, which can be more than 2 hours on weekends. Remember to join the waitlist. But, it's all worth it for the incredible food and drinks they offer.
Another thing to keep in mind is the 10% service charge included in the bill, so factor that into your tipping. It's always good to know ahead of time, so you're not caught off guard.
Overall, Ichicoro Ramen is an excellent choice for anyone who loves ramen, and I highly recommend it. Just be prepared for limited seating options and the 10% service charge.
