Awesome location and ghe staff was super friendly! Oh, and the ice cream was fantastic!! Definitely recommend!
The Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream with Brownie, Twix pieces, and Reese's Pieces were excellent to have and would eat here again soon. I didn't get to have the Candy there, but I will next time I'm there. Making the Ice Cream with Liquid Nitrogen was just amazing.

Both delicious 😋 but the cookie dough ice cream was lacking cookie dough… like only one piece in entire scoop. Glad I had the warm cookie.
My wife had a scoop of the coconut (which was very boldly flavored and delicious) & the banana crunch (which I would not recommend - had like rice puffs or something in it which made it poorly palatable).
Astro Craft Ice Cream is located inside Armature Works. The decor is plain inside, but the space was still sterile and was appealing to the eye. The service was friendly, and took care of all our needs.
The ice cream itself was fine, and wasn’t very special either. My ice cream did have a distinct flavor, but other than that everything was okay. Overall, is a good place if you’re looking for ice cream at Armature Works.
This ice cream shop is nestled inside of Armature Works in downtown Tampa. They have unique flavors and all scoops are served with a piece of waffle cone. The two scoops were large enough to share between two people as the the ice cream is rich and filling. This is a great treat to cool down after walking around the river walk.

I enjoyed grabbing dessert here after a filling dinner at Yummy House. Astro has a variety of fun flavors (their Cinnamon Snickerdoodle Marshmallow is heavenly... and I hope to try Brown Sugar Whiskey Cookie Dough next time!). They also have a unique presentation style featuring literal syringe-container flavor "shots" of chocolate, vanilla, and such to add to the fun experience.
Service was friendly and timely. It was tricky to choose what to order, only because the options all sounded great. They also sell various candies and cookies, while featuring regular specials (when I went, it was the New Year Special: 2 scoops of Peppermint Chip topped with dark chocolate curls, an Andes mint, and a chocolate flavor shot).
Be aware: They don't take cash, only debit, credit, and mobile pay. Plan accordingly and enjoy!
We love this little ice cream shop in Armature Works! The flavors are unique and delicious with something for everyone. We tried their cinnamon snickerdoodle and the banana pudding peanut butter ice cream flavors with an additional brownie. Yes, it’s a little pricey but it was well worth it in my opinion. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area!
Whenever we come down we have to stop by to get some ice cream. The new flavors are amazing. Local themes and a little something for everyone and if you don't like ice cream the chocolate Brownies will satisfy any chocolate lover. Pricing is alright. I have a big family so not cheap. But we love it
Great business presentation. Staff was nice. They have a wall full of all kinds of gummie treats and other sweets. A bit pricey but delish. My daughter chose the butterfly gummies. A small bag cost about $3.76. There are many ice cream and sorbet options. My daughter wanted cookies and cream but we were told they did not have so they offered us vanilla and added crush orea cookies on top. She loved it. Sorry didnt catch a pic of ice cream it self.
DELICIOUS ice cream. My daughter had the toasted coconut. Super great flavor and sooooo creamy. Wonderful and highly recommend.
This was a cute little ice cream shop/area secluded from the main walk way of Amature Works. The ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced. My waffle cone was fresh, although the piece of waffle cone placed inside was a bit stale. I like the topping choices which were only $0.50 extra per topping. The syringe was a cute addition that allowed you to squeeze however much caramel you wanted. I definitely recommend this spot over the other shop that offers ice cream; a difference of about $10 per scoop.
Very good ice cream. I’m a little lactose intolerant but homemade ice cream doesn’t bother me and this ice cream didn’t. Lots of yummy flavors you can sample too. Even had purple sweet potato ice cream!
