My experience on 8/23/2023 was great. There was no line-no wait when I walked up. Had a reservation, and quickly finished my paperwork. My clerk was Israel, and he did excellent work getting me through the process and into the car. Car was full of fuel, and A/C was blowing cold as I drove away. The Check-In was just as easy. Darling got my receipt in under 2 minutes. I was walking to the terminal with my receipt super quickly. Will rent from Fox on my next trip in about a month.

They guy gave me good advice to add the tolls. Otherwise, it would have been a bit expensive since there were quite a few toll highways in Orlando.
There was a bit of waittime, though, since only 2 agents were working, and there were a few people in line to get their cars. But Isreal was quick to finish my paper work and based on my plans he quickly made some adjustments.
Overall a great experience with foxrentacar Tampa Airport.
not sure why the bad reviews. this rental car had the lowest prices, good cars and their service was simple and straight forward. check in was about a 10 minute wait and the return was only about a 4 minute wait. I would deff come back to this location
Best rental company with low prices. Second time rental from fox and I can say they are now my first choice. Check out was quick and easy. No added fees before or after the rental. Everything I expected is what happen. They gave me a beautiful Jeep wrangler that I enjoyed the experience of driving in for a fun weekend in Tampa!!
The car was clean and available as advertised. I had one item in my bill that I wished to discuss when I returned the car. Yvonne (manager in Tampa) was extremely helpful and understanding and resolved my issue even beyond my expectations. I will use Fox again.

There was some confusion about the vehicle class at pick-up. We had reserved an intermediate car and were given an economy Mitsubishi Mirage. After we brought this up to the attention of the staff at the parking garage they apologized and gave us an upgraded vehicle - Hyundai Sonata which was very kind and nice of them. The vehicle was clean, nice and new as well. The bill was accurate and the $150 security deposit went straight back to the credit card as promised after a couple of days. The return process was fast and efficient too. I know FOX gets low ratings, but they were outstanding at the TPA airport this time! I hope they will keep up the good work!

I went there 6 months later and the experience was great again, even though it was a different team this time.

I had a great experience at this location.
Pros:
- Price was reasonable.
- Upgraded my car for a reasonable cost (Evely provided great help and advice).
- Things were fast (Ashley Cruse did an excellent job).
- Everybody is cheerful and cooperative (Claudio was great).
- Filed an insurance claim fast and effectively (Paul Cardin).
- Replaced my car when I experienced a flat tire (Manager Shae DeVaugh).
- Refunded me some money when there was a mistake in the bill (Customer Service Agent over the phone).
Cons:
- seriously none!
Summary:
- I would come back to fox / this location.

I had a perfect experience with this service. Elizabeth was an angel and helped me through everything. Even though I signed on with a third party, she was patient and understanding and resolved all of my issues. She was honest and unlike other companies, she laid out everything and made it easy to understand. I would recommend her and Fox Rent A Car as the selections were perfect for my day trip and exactly what I needed.
I was skeptical renting from them based on some of the reviews. My experience was excellent. Beware that you will pay more at the desk than paying for the car online. I saved $100 doing it online but you can still arrange pickup of car at the desk.( airport) The whole process was easy and fast and return of car was fast also.
