Thursday late afternoon, I have a long night of computer work ahead of me.. I was considering Burgerking and their 2 for $5 chicken when I remembered Sub Factory is just up the street here but miles from my home. I never go to Sub Factory because of the distance but there was a time that I remember when I went often and always remembered the same thing, the weight of the bag. I always remembered the bag felt like I had bought something, not exactly how it feels when I've gone to other sub shops. Even the $3 sub always weighted the bag. Well i told the young lady at the counter how I'd be up all night and she suggested a 17". She explained that the 17" was the price of the sub plus double meat, $2.69 more. I bought the hot pastrami and cheese, grilled onion and mushrooms with lettuce and tomato, pickle spears and 2 small potato salads. With tax, I spent about $12. I just finished one half of my 17" which they cut in two for me and toasted, and 2 pickles and potato salad and I'm stuffed like a stuffed bear! In fact I eat too much, I should have left some for later later later.
My question if I had one to ask, how much meat was there? The bun is not the majority of the sandwich and I'm stuffed, every bite was into thick filled meat and goodies.. It was too much.. really really good but more than I needed to eat lol I loved it!
This place is just a really good, down to earth place to eat that me and my family really enjoy. Try out their sliced chicken sub and you will thank me I promise :)
Very tasty sandwich, loaded with meat. Super friendly staff. I will be back.
