天ざる（蕎麦）と単品で鰻を食べました。お蕎麦は大変美味しかったです。蕎麦湯もあります。現金のみなので要注意。

Absolutely some of the best cold soba around. No frill restaurant. Staff was helpful.
Got the Kakiage Hot Soba and a side of Salmon Onigiri. The food came out quick and was quite delicious. This place is CASH ONLY but there is an ATM next door and they did mention we could order on their website to eat in restaurant but the prices are a bit higher. Parking is available behind the building.

Okay. This is about an hour drive but I had to do it. I've been craving tanuki soba for several weeks. I went down here with my daughter today. There was only one staff member working so the wait was 30 minutes. Others turned away but I could not after driving that long. This is one of the very few places that makes their udon/soba in house. I really love the flavor of the broth. No one can beat this place.
I’ve been coming here for years. I love the chewy noodles, whether it’s soba or udon. My favorite is the Tanuki udon. They make their noodles as opposed to purchasing frozen noodles.
Very simple, but great! Needed to reset my diet for the week because I was eating too much red meat and unhealthy foods. Soba seemed like a perfect meal, not too heavy but still a decent portion amount of food. The workers all speak Japanese as well, which is always reassuring to me when I eat at Japanese restaurants.
Friendly owner, fresh handmade noodles, and amazing broth, what’s not to like?? Stands up to authentic soba houses in Japan. A true gem in the heart of Torrance. Worth the visit! Bring cash or order online. Yuzu Oroshi with cold soba noodles pictured.

Known for soba noodles (hot/cold soup, or dipping). They also have rice dishes. Hot soba soup was delicious and really hit the spot!! Ask their staff for suggestions. Definitely looking forward to try that salmon egg on top of salmon rice dish next time.
