I have been coming here since 1986... by FAR my favorite Mongolian BBQ!! I was devastated when it was sold to new owners some years ago and they changed the sauces (ruined them) . . . Angrily told them that if they did not go back to the original sauces, I would be gone for good, and would tell others to do the same. Three or four years later I decided to give them another chance . . . Glad I did!!! The former owner is back . . . along with the original sauces!!! Back at the top of my favorite places to eat list!! I always go with the Lamb . . . SO GOOD!!!
I have been coming for the all you can eat dinner at this place for 25 years , sometimes 6months will go by where I havnt made it in but I always come back�. Love the fresh veggies and meat shavings cooked right in front of you. A taste on its own!!
Always come here when I need a good meal. Been coming here forever with my family, I know the staff and owner well. I always favor the actual Mongolian bbq over their newer Japanese menu, but their new items are also very tasty.
Been going here since my mother was pregnant with me. Food is amazing and I've enjoyed it my entire life
This site is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. everytime I feel like having a delicious lunch, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. superb and varied food and a large menu.helpful staff, and pleasant atmosphere. And very important, the tariff is reasonable. I sent my friends to this place with no doubt.
Tried The Pit Room for an early dinner on Saturday. We ordered the three meats plate that included two sides.
The BBQ meats are moist and have decent flavor. Their BBQ sauce has a tomato sauce based, which is okay and is not needed with the BBQ.
Meats: brisket, pulled pork, turkey, chicken, pork rib, venison sausage -- selected for the two three meats plates.
We ordered beef rib as extra. Golden Camel Mongolian Bar-B-Q
Brian (always with a smile) had owned and operated this place since the 70's but then retired and let younger relatives take over - they pretty much team it into the ground and so after the big remodel and much needed upgrade to modernize ther furniture etc, he took it back and now it's a favorite of locals once again.
This is the original Mongolian BBQ that introduced most locals to this type of cuisine with an arguably historic concave stove. All you can eat had always been their main menu item and you often see the same faces there that you have for the past 30+ years... except that now you'll also see them with their kids and grandchildren - there's an obvious reason for this as you'll discover during your first visit to this little gem of casual south bay dining experiences.
I highly recommend.
Been going to this restaurant for over 30 years my sons grew up loving this place. The all you can eat is great I can flavor my food to taste. I love it spicy others in my family medium. Go , you will love the food, workers and the owner.
Great mongolian BBQ. Lunch special includes soup, rice, tea and your choice of meats (5 different types if I remember correct).
Interior is a bit dated, but service is friendly and quick.
10/10 would definitely recommend.
I love this place my ex boyfriend took me here for the first time i love it. I now go with my son he loves it as well. i love it here
Update hes no longer my ex- boyfriend lol we comer here as a family or just us two but overall they are nice and friendly
