Excellent ramen place. Great prompt service. Had the Signature Josui Ramen. The broth is flavored just right, with a rounded mouth feel. The added egg we ordered is not tamago but cooked to perfection with the egg white having a bouncy texture and the yolk medium rare. Highly recommend!
Ramen spot off the beaten path. Came here for dinner with a couple of friends right at 5:30 when they opened. There was a small line and there’s a list where you can write your name down for when it’s a busier time. Got the maze soba which wasn’t too spicy but had good flavor. We also split an order of gyoza (5 pieces) which were on the smaller side it came freshly fried. The service was nice and prompt.
Indoor and outdoor seating available. Credit cards accepted (only one card per table). There’s a parking lot with ample spots.
Wife found this place while visiting. Small, easy to miss joint but the food is SO GOOD! Firstly, service was very good - the staff was so friendly, there was a slight language barrier but not an issue at all. The menu is not too intimidating: small menu but what we got did not disappoint. Started w/ duck app that was very flavorful. Really enjoyed the KOSOBA JOSUI/SHOYU RAMEN: what a great garlic broth! Also had the MISO ramen that was layered and nuanced in its flavor. This place is GOOD.
Beautiful Restaurant! Came to eat delicious fried chicken , BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER so glad we came , my cousin ordered the spicy miso soup which looked absolutely amazing!! Will definitely return.
Good clean ramen, not trying to do too many things but just do some damn good ramen. Customers were predominately Japanese, I think the waitress was from Osaka. Shockingly fast service. Simple menu, clean taste, surprisingly filling. Midway I thought I would have to order a little more but was fully satisfied at the end. Karage was pretty juicy and good as well.
Good ramen, good flavor and many add-on options, decently priced. Definitely worth trying out if you've never been. Quality has dropped a bit since it's grand opening but to be expected. Still a decent option for a sit-down ramen shop.
Some of the best ramen in LA. I got the spicy miso. This broth is fantastic. Gyoza is also really good. Its a little odd to me that so many restaurants don't do gyoza well, but Josui is on point.
We arrived before they opened for lunch. Good thing because there was already a line. There was 8 of us and they made a table for us right away. Wait staff was very efficient. The food was very good. We were never rushed, but we were able to have our meal quickly because of the wait staff. We had somewhere to go after so the efficiency was very important to us.
