With all the gourmet burger joints popping up in Tucson, Zinburger continues to be the best. When FRC converted the Montana Ave concept into another Zinburger, us Eastsiders were ecstatic since we were saved the long drive to River and Campbell. The service of the wait staff has always been impeccable and unlike many other places, the staff is willing to work on special topping combinations and they will sometimes bring out special bottles of wine from the old wine list. The quality of the ingredients is the highest. Especially impressive are the exotic burger ingredients such as brie, manchego cheese, wine braised onions, and fried eggs that are perfectly over easy. The patty meat is cooked to order and the chef is on point most of the time, with occasional deviations a half temperature off. Nonetheless, the meat is juicy and has plenty of fat to protect the flavor. The French fries are good and can be ordered with toppings, but the thinner cut fries from two years ago were to die for, especially when covered in truffle oil and Parmesan. I have never gotten a to-go box, but when one of my guests did, the meat dried out in the refrigerator in hours so separate the patty and wrap it in plastic to keep it moist. My favorite burger is the Breakfast because the avocado and egg yolk form a creamy sauce for the meat. If you are feeling spicy, try the Ringer. The Frank's hot sauce pairs perfectly with a pint of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA.

Great atmosphere coupled with friendly staff members. The food was very fresh and packed with flavor. You could tell the quality of beef in every bite compared to the normal burger spots. I'm only going with 5 stars since this was my first visit and my experience was exceptional. I'll return a few more times so I'll be able to make a fair assessment over time.

I am doing Keto and the server Jonny was super helpful with telling me what to avoid on the menu. It is my birthday and he brought me whipped cream with a candle to help me celebrate. Food was fantastic. We will be back!
