We had a wonderful dinner tonight, with the cabrilla in caper-butter sauce and one of the combo plates. The lemon drop martini was perfect! We've driven past this place a million times, but it was our first time eating here. It's our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Tucson.
Visited this restaurant for their South American night tonight for Uruguayan night. Not only was the service amazing, the food was as well! Had the Chivito Sandwich as an appetizer and the taste was excellent. Having visited Uruguay myself, I can say that the flavor was authentic. For the entree I had flank steak a la Napolitana and was very pleased. I would recommend going to the South American Nights, aside from great food and service there is a great vibe. I only wish I would see more of us South Americans there, you all are missing out. Can't wait for next time !
What a hide treasure, try the carne seca cime so good !! The desserts are amazing. Live music is so nice. Service is very fast and friendly. Love this place prices are very affordable 👌
Tacos are really good. Super hot (temperature), crunchy and flavorful. The salsa wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good. I'm pretty sure the tortilla chips are made in house which is really neat. I came in at around 5pm, was seated immediately, and my food came out like scary quick. I had the birria tacos. I will definitely come back and try other delicious items.
I went there and sat at their very nice bar. I had birria enchiladas with refried beans and it was delicious. Get the red sauce, it is the best. Chloe the bartender was amazing! she was knowledgeable, professional, and very kind to my family and I. We will definitely go back there and more often after the experience we had tonight!
Loved this Mexican restaurant! Excellent service from my waiter, fast service and an excellent chicken enchilada's. This place is very clean and well organized seating. The lighting is a little dark, so use your cell phone to look at the menu.
Wonderful fresh food. We went on a Saturday night and there was a lovely flamenco guitarist playing. Great experience all around.
El Cisne is unique in that it’s a fine dining Mexican restaurant (which there aren’t that many of). That being said, I would say the experience and price factors in the atmosphere more than exceptional food. I enjoyed what I had (Pescado Frito- fried red snapper), but it wasn’t any better than similar dishes I’ve had elsewhere for a lower price. I have the same opinion toward the salsa and tortillas. The service was fine and mostly left me to myself, which I prefer. If you want a fine dining experience while having Mexican cuisine, El Cisne offers that, but don’t expect to be blown away by the food
We were in town for the holidays and delighted that we found this place. Came in on a Wednesday evening expecting something decent but we were very pleased from the time we walked in, til we walked out. The service was excellent... just the right balance of attentiveness and giving us our space.
The Cadillac Margaritas were perfect, no bar mix in the drinks, fresh and potent. We had the tamale' appetizer dish... verde went to him and he commented on the sweetness and freshness of the masa. I had the red tamales and loved the slight bite of the sauce.
For dinner we both had chimis 'enchilada-style', him verde and me red sauce. The shells were well prepared, flaky and fresh, and the pork had been seasoned with clove. So good!
For afters we shared a coconut flan, which was lovely, and another round of margaritas.
I recommend this place very highly... pleasant staff, excellent food, no rush. A lovely evening!
My family was absolutely blown away by the delicious food served to us by incredibly friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Mexican food!
DELICIOUS FOOD, endless chips & salsa, killer server with gorgeous green eyes FERNANDO!!! Fernando was incredibly kind & accommodating he had great recommendations, was friendly, kind, outgoing, knowledgeable, he really made our experience what it was. We were fortunate enough to come on a Thursday night where they had a musician playing guitar & singing who was phenomenal!!! We sat & danced while we ate our food. Carne asada chimichanga covered in Verde Salsa is a must try its HUGE I took the second half home the portion was so large. The Cadillac Margarita was awesome & we will be back soon. Thank you Fernando for making our time there so welcoming. Looking forward to being back!
