The atmosphere is very much a steakhouse atmosphere (smells like mesquite and is a bit dark), when you walk in, to the left is the restaurant and to the right is the bar.
We were seated immediately (5pm on a Saturday), it was busy but not overly busy. The staff was nice and helpful, our waitress Dulce was so nice and attentive.
I had the chicken fajitas with rice and beans, it was delicious. The rice and beans were SO good. I wish the tortilla was different for myself, it's one large thin tortilla that you have to tear pieces off of and it dries out pretty quickly when left open to the air, I'm more a fan of smaller multiple tortillas. My husband had the Queen ribeye with salad and baked potato and it was delicious as well. They make their ranch homemade (so good!). We preferred their creamy guacamole over their regular guac, the creamy has a much better flavor and it's spicier as everything is blended together. Our kids split an order of chicken tenders and fries and those were good as well.
Definitely plan on going again!
Food was delicious. Ordered the carne asada plate and the queen steak ranchera. Very impressed. The chips and salsa including the menudo was also good. Little Mexico Steakhouse deserves 5 stars for food. Customer service was ok— they were busy. Atmosphere fit the steakhouse vibe. Definitely recommend.

We have dined in for several years and also now do more take out these days here at Little Mexico. We love this restaurant! They have the BEST food and atmosphere. Their front desk staff have excellent customer service skills. They are efficient and fast-working as they are very busy, especially the weekends. All staff are friendly too!
Food was really good.. the beans were homemade they were delicious!!
Invited to graduation party 🎉. We had 30 guests. Everything was super! We had a Mariachi group in person.
The best part was dining with dear friends. We were visiting from out of town, and this is one of my friend's favorite places.
We got there for lunch and were promptly seated. The tortillas were good, and the green sauce was very tasty.
Service was very friendly and attentive. I had the beef enchilada lunch special; my wife had the sampler.
Really interesting interior that got me unsettled at first because the hostess was behind bars but then I turned the corner and it felt like a western tavern. Our server, Brenda, has awesome hair. Her service was just as great. All around she was patient with us and didn't make us feel hurried. No mention of food because it's so good it doesn't need mention! Great work chefs:) This is an authentic Tucson experience that out-of-state visitors should go out of their way to enjoy.
We went to dance. We didn't order food but we got drinks. It was fun but the dance floor was too small. Even at that, we would go again.🙂
Recommended by fellow guests staying local. Wasn't dissatisfied. The steakhouse is a mum &pop venue thankfully. So sick of chain/franchised generic restaurants that populate the USA unfortunately. The Mexican restaurant had lovely staff who were prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. The decor is wooden panels with cow branding seared into the wood. The venue is very busy so get there early or make a booking. The venue is divided into a bar room and restaurant with a foyer dividing the 2 rooms. Excellent choices available from the menu. Highly recommend this place..if you're sick of chain restaurants and want a real experience...go here
Best comfort food you could ask for.
