Probably the best pizza in Tucson. Nothing fancy, just great pizza and calzones. If you go, leave room for the chocolate dipped cannolis....
Not enough sauce on pizza but, was still better than frozen pizza. Crust is pretty good and loved the music!
Simply awesome food. Huge portions. The owners are really nice people. It's a win-win-win. Don't miss checking them out - you'll be a loyal customer at the first bite. (Bic lighter added to photo to give an idea just how huge a single slice of delicious pie is. ) 🍕😂
Love love love! Pizza was good, service was lovely, and the staff is super nice. I love the decor, it reminds me so much of being a kid (but still really nicely done, not chintzy at all)!
I had the pleasure of stopping into a Mama's for the 1st time ever. I'm glad it was here. Went in for lunch and the lunch special of the day was a 1 slice 2 topping & a beverage at a price I COULDN'T resist! Especially for the sizes you get-Ginormous!!! There is the availability of indoor and outdoor dining, thats was a plus! If you can, grab a seat outdoors, the mountain views are gorgeous! The indoor ambiance was cute, welcoming and entertaining. We were helped by a friendly and amazing employee Nicholas. He did it all-and I mean all; cashier, cook, and server! And he did it with such great service! All the above has made this my new favorite pizza spot.
Food was great. Lunch was great and pizza was delicious. Ziti was somewhat dry but let them know about it and made fresh dish of ziti pasta and they added Italian sausage and was al dente with delicious taste. Had an extra beer and it was delicious and excellent. I did tell the help what I was going to tip.
Been coming since like 1991 when the Fry’s was next door. Anyway this particular spot is always consistent and great. If you want a great lunch slice and drink for a good price, this the place.
The other locations are good, but this one on Magee is great. 👌🏽
Great pizza! Won’t leave hungry! Friendly service
Five stars all around. Vincent the owner aka Vinnie, rolled out the red carpet for a friend and I. All I had to do was order a pizza and they took care of the rest. The owner even joined my friend and I, it was out first time there. He was modest and sincere, and it really was a treat to sit there and shoot the breeze as if we were friends that were catching up on old times. Next time I want pizza, Mama's will be first on the list! His staff were wonderful and he treated them with respect,I felt that they could be themselves around him. Who knows, maybe I'll apply for a part time job there just tonne a part of the team! Great folks all around!
P.S.
The fountain in the middle was a beautiful touch! And I'll definitely never forget "The don himself, Vinnie!"
The pizza was amazing such a cozy lil spot definitely worth it
Got a birthday party or a sports team celebration and you don’t know how many pizzas to get? You need one. This one. Unless the kids are all over twelve you might need two. Or you might want the parents to eat too then get three. But you won’t need more than that. You might need to rent a flat bed to get the pizzas home. It probably won’t fit in your Prius. You might want to get four because when people find out how good it is even the “I don’t normally eat pizza” person will go back for seconds. I don’t know if they have the oven space for five. You will have to ask.
Excellent food. It's an older restaurant but the food more than makes up for the atmosphere. No table service. You place your order at the counter and the staff bring the food to your table. Large portions.
