Traveling cross country and stopped in Tucson and wanted tacos, found this place about 2 miles from the hotel. Just a hole in the wall looking place but the food was top notch and the guys were all very friendly and helpful. I had the street tacos and they were perfect, my wife had the flying saucer and was very happy with it and my son had some rolled tacos and he was impressed with how much cheese they put on them. My only complaint is that I can't eat there regularly.
Got three orders of super fries (carne asada fries). Really delicious, huge portions, tons of toppings, lots of flavor. Excellent horchata as well. Great and friendly service. If this were closer to me I’d be a whole lot fatter.
Stopped in for the first time & shared a bowl of menudo, chorizo burrito & rolled tacos with guacamole & cheese. All were very good, especially the menudo. Will definitely be back!
Good place for Red Menudo,; beyond that, I can't speak for any other food menu items. Their service was good, and their portions were good. Many customers came in to order while my wife and I ate. The red Menudo was great, had good flavor, and their portions were plentiful. The food was excellent, making us want come back to try some of their other food items next time.
Big fan of Fito's! Great food made quickly. Great service, too. It's clearly more of a takeout joint, so the indoor atmosphere leaves a little room, but all of my orders have been for takeout so it has not impacted my enjoyment at all. There are seats inside and can probably accommodate a dozen or so before it gets tight.
In any case, that's the ONLY critical feedback - this place is really great.
I regularly go to Fitos with my girlfriend and we both really enjoy their food. We especially love that the staff is always friendly, the restaurant is always super clean, and highly recommend them for their good authentic Mexican food!
I go here at least twice a week for both breakfast and dinner. My absolute favorite taqueria in Tucson. Staff is always friendly and fast and prices are extremely reasonable. Food couldn’t be better for this type of food as well.
Good food and great options. Portions are a little smaller than say Nico's for the same price. But the quality was better than most the chain tacoshops.
This place is actually pretty good and service great.
Ordered a carne asada burrito and chips and salsa to go. The burrito was DELICIOUS. Ordered at the counter and it was ready to go in minutes, kudos on very quick service. Only thing I thought could be better was that the salsa came on top of the chips, quickly causing the chips to become a little soggy. Still delicious, but I do prefer my chips crunchy. Overall, great food, great price and great service. Will return!
