Nice formal dining. Staff was nice and service prompt. Good quality ingredients and mild seasoning. Almost too mild. Overall a nice restaurant for occasional formal dining.
One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten! The oyster Rockefeller were unbelievable! The Chilean Seabass with crusted mushrooms on top was absolutely incredible. Cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and the service were absolutely perfect. we had a party of four, everyone loved what they got.
If you like an intimate experience with good food, then you've found the right place. A reservation is recommended and very much encouraged (required). I decided to visit Bodean for my first time on what could be one of the busiest days of the year, Valentines Day. Keep in mind that this is also my anniversary to my wife of 8 years.
Not only does the day alone mean a lot to my wife and I, but my father who passed back on Christmas 2022 wanted to take us to Bodean's to enjoy some of the best salmon he has had locally. Outside of the two major reasons of visiting, we were excited and love seafood. We had no issues with our reservation and were promptly seated. The place was dimly lit yet had lighting that focused directly on the table. White table cloth, quiet, and a fireplace with a fire flickering nearby.
Our waitress promptly grated us with a smile. We simply ordered water's and no appetizers. After a short review of the menu, we knew exactly what we wanted. The wife went with the scallops while I went the sea bass. After a short wait, our entrees arrived. The food was not only prepared properly but looked like art on the plate.
Freshness was the first thing you noticed, followed by the simple yet complex pairing of flavors. Scallops were seared with care placed in a light red plate of pureed strawberry sauce.
