Delicious, flavorful, friendly. I have come here a couple times and it hasn't disappointed. The mofongo is one of the best I had. Full of flavor, not bland at all. The fried porkchop was also full of flavor. Crunchy in the outside and tender on the inside. The empanadas and stuffed potato are what I expected them to be. I highly recommend this place.
My first time eating from here was yesterday, the meals that are $8 and come with rice and your choice of meat are totally worth it. All of it was freshly made and well put together. Definitely recommend this place.
Food was great, though I got it to go the empanadas were still crispy. The friend pork chop was crispy and juicy on the inside, and it went well with the friend plantains. Not the healthiest, I know, but still pretty good. Don't order online as the website charges an extra service fee, but if you call and order they are friendly and will take care of you
The food was delicious. Great portion and great price. If you have a chance definitely eat El Barajo.

This place is phenomenal!!!! Food was unbelievably delicious,I would have given more than 5 stars if I could ...was our first time visiting and we were excited to try some real Dominican/Spanish food ,traveled over a hour and it was worth the trip,restaurant is clean and staff friendly ,we got a lot of food for the price portions are huge I had a hard time finishing my yummy rice and beans ,pork was superb moist and flavorful,their ribs super juicy ,fall off the bone ,again the flavor was just on point delicious, oxtail juicy,moist,seasoned just right and last but definitely not least their sweet plantains fresh,hot,sticky and sweet just yum. I highly recommend this place you will not regret going there ,and we will be back often

Super delicious spicy chicken, yellow rice, veggies, and black beans! Its a nice clean and friendly place to get a quick plate of fresh food! Parking is easy too. Will definitely come back when I am in the area!
Love their food! Prices are very good. The staff is very friendly. The only problem I had is the last time I ordered, I ordered 6 beef and cheese empinadas (I love their empinadas but I was starting all these with my family.... this time...). Unfortunately when I got home (30 minutes away) we found out there 2 beef and cheese and 4 chicken and cheese. This has happened more than once. Maybe a better system to keep them separate in the fridge? Very unnerving to bite into what you think is beef and it's not beef lol
