The food is good, home style comfort food with big portions! Our server was very nice. The service was a little slow, but it was a sunny Saturday and the place was packed so we understood. The entire staff was so sweet with the grandkids, showed them how to cook, how they were making ice cream, gave them free samples of the chips they were making. We had a wonderful time! The grandkids have already asked to go back!

So many flavors, it's a little overwhelming! Everyone in my party was able to get what they wanted. Their 3-scoop pints are amazing for mixing flavors. We would definitely come back if we pass through again. So worth the detour.
The smiling staff that makes you feel welcome. I had a few samples to pick the flavor I was in the mood for. The mango ice cream was rich and delicious. Every bit was light and refreshing. I can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients. It's much easier to eat in a cup vs on a cone.
Great stop at the Nut Tree in Vacaville right off the 80. A big menu something for everyone. Big ice cream parlor with everything you could imagine

Food and dessert are delicious!! Staff is nice and responsive to requests. Portions are generous so food can easily be shared.
The food is good but the service is slow. The Fentons in Oakland is definitely better. But the people are nice. Just like the location in Oakland, they are known for their ice cream and not as much for the food.
Was there for lunch and ice cream. Had the BLT club sandwich. In order to save room for the ice cream, I brought home half of the sandwich. For my ice cream treat I selected the petite-size sundae with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge topping. The ice cream is velvety smooth and the hot fudge was hot and fudgy. We hadn't been there for months because of the pandemic. Our server was pleasant and attentive despite the fact that indoor dining was going away the next day. I enjoy dining there. It is always a special treat.
We took our daughter here on our way to taking her back to school. It was great! We ordered too much food but enjoyed it. I had the turkey reuben and they split a burger and a Cobb salad. The reuben was perfect. Not too much sauerkraut or thousand island dressing. We had to share a sundae for dessert. It wasn't exactly what we ordered but was still yummy.
