Wow this place OMG it so takes me back when I would eat with my Grandparents in the deep South Georgia. They only take Cash and checks so be ready to bring it old school payments. I spent $15 this includes the tip I gave the lady that took great care of me.

Betty's Diner is an original diner. Don't let the older look of it deter you from eating here. The current owner waits tables and runs the front end. She is a charm.
The service is wonderful and the food just as equal. This is a spot where the locals come. Everyone that was here said hello and carried on a conversation with whom ever came thru the doors.

Southern Georgia hospitality at its best. Lots of locals have been coming here for years and although the service is not always the fastest. I did enjoy a nice breakfast and amazing lunch with my family here. We were advised by other Patrons to try the biscuits and cane syrup for a true Georgia experience. I had the Fried Chicken lunch which was juicy and delicious and I loved the fact that you got several veggie selections with it.
A friend and I ate there for breakfast and it was very tasty. A man served us and he was very attentive, however, a smile once in awhile would have been welcomed. Miss Betty is very nice.
This place is exactly the kind of local place I search for when traveling. Filled with locals, this very basic establishment has been here a long time for a reason. I met Betty today, a lovely lady who had been doing this for 47 years! The menu is simple, the food is basic and delicious. The biscuits were the most amazing thing I've had in a long time, grilled to perfection with just the right amount of butter.
