The food was amazing, they have a great collection of pasta and anti pasta dishes. We tried the rosemary bread, it comes with ricotta cheese, chives, olive oil and rosemary. We also tried the seafood spaghetti and the squash ravioli, both on the special menu, both were very tasty and large portion. I got my child the grilled chicken which she actually ate and really enjoyed They also have a nice collection of wine and other spirits The servers are very nice and accommodating.

This place was an amazing find! The atmosphere was quaint and authentic. Our service was prompt without being rushed. I think we may have even been served by the manager who wore a suit, sat us, and took our orders. He didn't write a thing down, yet remembered everyone's order. He was able to recommend a bottle of Super Tuscan red wine that was fantastic and was patient with us as we asked lots of questions about the menu. The only dish that was a flop was the calamari appetizer, which he stated was one of his favorites. Not sure if it was prepared incorrectly or just not our flavor pallet, but it just tasted burnt. Favorite dish on the table was the goat cheese stuffed ravioli with added grilled shrimp!

I thought this place was solid. Nothing quite warranting a full 5 stars as I feel that's reserved for something that stands out to another level, but I'd really give this place 4.5 stars. I had a group of 8 and we were seated in this cute separate room off to the one side of the bar (did not make a special request or anything like that), so we really appreciated that perk! The group ordered a variety of starters and all were good. I had the pappardelle for my entree and very much enjoyed it. My friend got a dish she ended up not liking (i think moslty due to personal taste preferences), but they brought her a different dish free of charge...although both were originally on the bill, when asked, the one dish was removed.

I came here the other day for lunch and had a very nice experience! I had no expectations going in, and I was really satisfied with the wait time, service, and quality of the meal.

January 2023 5* This is nice Italian restaurant located near the Washington Convention Center. The place is amazing and quite busy so don’t forgot to reserve the table. There are many options but also offer quick lunch menu as well. We selected quick lunch option. However it took 30-40 mins for food so make sure you are not in hurry. Staff is good but seems there is shortage of staff. The place is fully accessible and washrooms are clean.

At Sfoglina you get the real taste of Italy! The ingredients used are high quality und authentic - the Carbonara is made with Guanciale pork, as it should be, and the Bolognese is a real ragu and is not cooked with ground meat. The pasta is handmade and has the perfect texture. All in all, the taste is excellent. Don't miss the Tiramisu, which is also first class. The prices are high, but justified. The service was a bit rushed, but still very friendly.

Perfect place for the authentic Italian dining. The place is expensive but worth the price. They have the best garlic bread, potato gnocchi, and tiramisu. The waitress was extremely nice and very patient. The ambiance is extraordinarily amazing. It's advisable to reserve the table in advance.

Truly some of the best fresh pasta I’ve ever had. The garlic bread was amazing as well. On top of all, the service was fantastic. Ps. Apparently “Sfoglina” is the Italian term for women who specialize in making handmade pastas.

The food was good, not great. Service was as expected. Very loud with average size crowd. Garlic Bread was amazing, as was the Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta. The Panna Cotta easily served two, though I could have eaten all myself. The Ravioli with fresh dill was good. The Fettuccine Alfredo was a little bland. Tasted more like noodles with butter. Price was fair.

Spicy puttanesca, warm rosemary bread with whipped ricotta, watermelon, lime, mint agua fresca. Overall good. One criticism; the spicy puttanesca was not spicy at all. Really good, but not spicy.
