Great place in DC. Tasty food and delicious margaritas. Great service. Very friendly waiters. I can just recommend the place for a nice evening of food and drink.

I live in NYC but I went to DC just to literally try this food! A friend recommended it to me and the food was just delicious! The mexican food here has a special and specific flavor that makes it unique and an enjoyable experience. The service is excellent and the margaritas were so good. Frozen margaritas were on point! Thanks for this experience and willing to go back and try it again and again.

Another outing with my ladies group. We hit up this place just off Connecticut Ave in NW Washington. Ample seating inside and out. The establishment is very colorful and eclectic in its decor. Quite beautiful, and I loved it. Food: I ordered the Fajitas with steak and pork ribs. Everything was fork tender, seasoned well and very delicious. We also had the Guacamole Dip, our server made right at our table. It was so so fresh and delicious. Our servers were exceptional. Very attentive and all around, just awesome! I wish I lived in this neighborhood, I would be here every weekend. I highly recommend visiting this establishment!!

It's good. I love that they prepare their black beans from scratch daily and always order the enchiladas with them instead of the refried beans. Their margaritas are top notch. The fried platanos with cream appetizer is very good.

Food was fenomenal, the service A+. I went there to celebrate my birthday and the staff surprised me with a cake and singing happy bday. Was so cool. I love the inside decorations 😍

This was my second time here and I was pretty disappointed after a magnificent first time. Don't get me wrong, the food was really flavorful, but there were several of hiccups along the way. We started with the vegan tamales. Laredo is an early adopter in using non-dairy cheese in Mexican food, and sure enough the tamales had mozzarella melted into a red sauce on top, which was wonderful. However the filling seemed like it was the frozen veggie medley, so it was wasn't very hearty or substantive; each bite was a mix of just corn meal and peas/carrots/green beans. I wouldn't order again. For the entree we shared a Hawaiian fajita platter. Now the fajitas here are a must order if you are getting vegan food. They bring them out on the hot and sizzling cast iron platter, Laredo chefs know how to season the tofu and veggies to make them really flavorful, and it comes with the works: rice, beans, cheese, guac, pico. The problem was it came with three small tortillas. Given the heaping mounds of delicious fajita filling (stuffed in a pineapple half) and accoutrements, three tortillas was enough for about half of the meal. This felt super stingy and how obviously not conducive to sharing the large dish. When I asked for more tortillas, they promptly brought them out but had the gall to charge extra. Sigh. This was a three star experience, but given that I've been here before and it was fantastic, it averages out to four stars for me. I was bummed the server was indifferent when we told them they got the order wrong ("I'll look into that" and then never came back). But last time our server Juan absolutely killed; friendly, helpful, funny. It was cool sitting in the Frida room in back, and I like that they have outdoor seating. Very grateful that they have a vegan menu and I will def be back.

I had a skinny margarita and it was PHENOMENAL. For dinner I chose to have a chicken and steak fajitas and I enjoyed the steak more. But everything was exceptional. The music sets the scene. This was a wonderful place to dine and our server was fantastic!

Not shocking that again Laredo gets 5 stars across the board. Legitimately drove across the District (instead of heading home to PG County) to bring my visiting friend here. The mole is incomparable, the margaritas are fantastic, the service is always top shelf. Be sure to try their “homemade” infused tequila. It’s a bit different every time because they change up what they infuse it with.

This place is a great option for a casual night out. Tex mex comfort food those of us from the ‘burbs know and love. Not something easy to find in the city. Laid back atmosphere slightly cheaper than other options with big portions. Many reviews are negative because it’s not “authentic” Mexican. It’s not trying to be. Why don’t y’all go to one of the 50 Mexican restaurants in the city and leave the one Tex-mex place alone! This restaurant is an amazing option to have on a lazy day when you just want a frozen margarita, enchiladas, and are not trying to impress anyone.

Excellent food, great service and good selection of drinks. They know what they are doing, and the meals are prepared like they are meant for family. Definitely in my top 10 for foodies in DC. My selection was Enchiladas with Mole and numerous Patron.
