Definitely spend too much money here. Always worth it. Great beer, great food, great bartenders.
Great food. You must get your sausage dressed!!! All the staff was super nice. The games are a blast.
Great Hangout Spot
Franklin Hall is a perfect staple for beer, bar food, and sports.
They have great daily specials (half off wing nights, half off burger nights, etc.). The vibe is chill on weeknights and slightly more rowdy during weekend football (where things still feel fun and chill).
The buffalo wings are pretty good. They have a nice kick to them, but I wish they came out hotter in temperature and more well done (crispy). Tots were also good with a nice seasoning, but a little too salty. I've also had the smash burger, which was nothing out of this world, but a solid burger on 1/2 off night. Solid bar food, but not sure paying full price for most items are entirely worth it from a food perspective.
Overall 8/10 fun place to hang out with actual food and drink specials.
This place is huge. I’ve been here many times for large group gatherings and birthday parties because the seating is all bench based and very easy for a big group of friends to come. Games, light food and loads of beer! Highly recommend!
I come to DC frequently, and this place is a MUST! The food and vibe are ok. What keeps me coming back is the bartender, Ben. You'll immediately recognize him. He's the one with long hair, Auburn hat (his only downfall...Roll Tide), and the absolute best southern accent in DC. His conversations, attention to detail, knowing what I want and getting me to try new things that I find I love, and overall down to earth/welcoming persona is what keeps me coming back. It's a pleasant surprise to find courteous staff in DC. Thanks, Ben! See ya again in January!

Franklin hall has quite an ambiance that is both inviting and captivating. The libations are of superb quality, making it a top destination for those who appreciate a well-crafted drink.
However, what sets this place apart are the complimentary pool tables that add an extra element of entertainment to the overall experience. It is a must-visit destination for those seeking a lively atmosphere and an enjoyable evening out.
This was the starting location of the Pacer's Black History Month Run/Walk. Apparently they did some special things to serve us so don't know how the next person's experience will be. The things include these pancakes and mimosas where they are traditionally a bar and don't have brunch options normally. A participant ordered the old bay wings and raved about them. Since it was a meeting place, didn't get to experience fully. Did see they have pool tables, connect four and other table games.
Visited from out of town recently and I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was great and our bartender, Ben, was excellent. He kept us laughing!
Love coming to Franklin hall because Mike is such a kind spirit! Also good drinks and food. And wing Wednesday is the best.
We only drank so I can't say anything about the food. Nice atmosphere with a few outdoor tables but large interior. Good lineup of beers. Lots of taps and a good number of regional beers in the list. Mike was a fun bartender.

Perfect place to host a large party/reception!! We had a group of ~300 and the venue was perfect for a large scale casual event. Ryan and Nate were FABULOUS to work with and made the process easy from start to finish. Excellent service, food, drinks and vibes. Cannot recommend them enough!!
