I'm a local and this is by far one of the best Starbucks locations with friendly staff and spacious seating areas to get work done when needed. On my visit today Adrienne provided excellent professionalism and service. I enjoyed our conversation and my large mocha was spot on!
Drink came out pretty fast and everything else was up to Starbucks par. I would attribute all the low ratings so far to the fact that this place just opened up about a month ago. Definitely has its act together now.
I love this Starbucks and the decor. The manager Adrienne is amazing and the Supervisors are too. The staff here is always smiling and polite they even greet you as soon as you come in the door. This is a neighbor store and it feels like home. I can't leave out the Baristas that does an outstanding job as well. Will definitely continue welcoming them with my presence.
This was one of the coziest and artsy Starbucks.
They were so friendly and treated the children like stars. Making us laugh and being efficient. I did not feel at all like I was in a chain coffee shop.
The drinks were made perfect and the customer service amazing ! Thanks for adding to a great day in DC! We really enjoyed it.

Israel needs a little more customer training. He sort of loses it when he gets busy. Everyone else is greeting people with a smile in the storm of a rush, while Isreal becomes abrupt and unwilling to be helpful, which is not my normal experience at this store.
He also needs to smile more and be polite in a way that is more than civil. He is at times borderline rude compared to the rest of the gang.
This is my neighborhood place and I am invested. I have given a five star rating in spite of Israel 's need for a customer service refresher course, because the rest of the staff and management at this site are so amazing that one person's lack of finesse cannot crush the vibe in the long term.
I used to manage hospitality businesses for years. I have a long history in the service industry. I do not give raving reviews lightly.
But overall the staff here is choice. I am grateful for their service.
This location handled a huge rush of teenagers in town for a conference with speed and grace. When we arrived there was a line to the door, and after we got our food there was a line to the sidewalk. The baristas were so quick to fill our 6 drink order, and they never slowed down! The ladies and gents there need a raise!
Very spacious inside. Nitro coffee brews are also available here.
Friendly service with standard fare as well as the extended wine bar's they have been putting in some places. Staff is friendly and accommodated our child's need for a croissant when they had none left but scrounged one up for her anyway.
This is a comfortable place to get some work done, or chat with a friend, or just relax and enjoy a snack and beverage. There is both inside and outside dining. We found the seating more comfortable than most starbucks.
They take their time during rush hour, which surprised me, but it's not exactly in a business district. Still, it's clean with a lot of seating. Probably a good place for a local person working remotely or just meeting to hang out and chat or read.
