Wow! My first time coming here and after the amazing customer service delicious food, I definitely do not mind driving 40 minutes just for a Waltz coney. Literally walked in 2-3 minutes til closing hoping that I would be able finally try their food, but was expecting to be told, “sorry we’re closed”. Instead I was greeted with a warm hospitality and served A1 customer service! Keep up the great work!
I've been coming to Walt's since I was a small child. I take all my close friends here to try their coney & shakes, and now I take MY children here whenever I can. I moved to NC for 4 years but I ate at Walts each time I visited. We left NC to evacuate for a hurricane, and I had my son in MI while it was happening. A few days before giving birth we visited Walts, we came back again before I went into the hospital, and before I left MI to go reunite with my husband we visited again. I also remember busting my lip for the first time ever sitting at the counter. 🤣
Always a friendly face & great food served here. Lots to see on the walls, we've signed them probably about 3 times!
Back in the dayWe would start off our weekend going to Waterford Hill Racetrack then off to Walt's.There is absolutely nothing better than a Walt's coney dog.
The best Coney in metro Detroit the last thirty years. Cash only, a must visit in Waterford.
Best chili around for hot dogs, just really wished they used a koegels hot dog.

great place to get a coney and fries. I really like the coney sauce and always order the chili fries with the chili on the side that way I can dip the fries into the sauce and it doesn't make the fries soggy. I guess I should have mentioned that I get my food for carry out, thats why the fries get soggy. Its the dam drive home.... And the girl who works the drive through window is really nice.
