Shorty's Bar and Grill on Dixie highway is a great place for a night out!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away from your hectic life and have a little fun. The owners and the manager are great people. They have made Shorty's a very enjoyable place to visit. The bartenders and wait staff are very attentive and friendly. They have delicious food and excellent drink prices. They also have DJ's and live music, plus dart leagues and an lod tournament every Friday. If you are interested, just get ahold of Frank Benning. Shorty's has that friendly neighborhood tavern feel that I love! Always great service, coldest beer in town (& great selection), friendly staff and management. Great food/drink specials daily, many craft brews - always $3.50 each...not 5 bucks like most places. Bucket specials all iced down, chilled pint glasses, they have beer lovers covered! Nice new floor a few months ago...looks awesome. I really enjoy the outdoor deck overlooking Dixie Hwy when the weather is nice (patio heaters when cooler). Food is very good and very reasonable... Just today they had a $4 burger & fries special! It's not elegant and stuffy...it is a good-time hometown bar, exactly what I want.
Really good bar food! I love their French fries! Burgers are good too nice and juicy. Everything on the sampler platter was yummy, especially the chicken strips and onion rings. We also tried their deep fried Oreos and they were delicious too!

Enjoyed some great Brisket and Cabbage Tacos along with a Shiner Bock Texas Beer 🍻 it don't get better than that. 😎🍾🍺
As Toby Keith might say, "I love this Bar" Christina is not only as beautiful as the day is long, she is an amazing barmaid and a class young lady, Always a smile, always in a good mood and always very busy working but not to busy to say hey and make you feel welcome. I have been there for Karaoke also and have always had a good time, floor staff is professional and makes sure the night runs smoothly. The food is some of the very best bar food I have ever had, and the perch dinners are amazing. 100% fully recommend this place you won't be disappointed.
